The Heritage Foundry : Law of the Sea Hearings Point to Lame Duck Passage Strategy

I also argue agains ratification. This appears to be an attempt to surrender the US to international control in clear defiance of our Constitution. No taxation (or regulation) without representation. I find it incredulous that the left in Washington is not only pushing this bad idea, they're dodging any and all relevent questions about the details to the point of name-calling.

The Heritage Foundry : Rugged Individualism Fades from National Character

It's telling that communist leaders tried to assainate Mr. Wayne. They understood what he and his roles represented to the country. Also telling is that communist infiltration of Hollywood was one of their stated goals as read into the Congressional Record in the early 1960's: http://backwardsboy.blogspot.com/2012/05/society-...

Hyscience : Video: Krauthammer Slams Obama\'s Energy Policy :: Political News and commentaries :: Hyscience

Dr. K is right. This administration is distorting the energy market by placing unneeded and outrageously expensive regulations on the industry, driving up the price and destroying jobs and tax revenue. Squeezing capital from the market deprives the sector of the money needed for research and development of new energy sources, thus requiring the government to subsidize what should be a self-sustaining market. As we have seen, subsidizing "green energy" has been a disaster for taxpayers, wasting billions of borrowed dollars on failed ventures like Solyndra in order to line the pockets of Obama's campaign contributors. We have vast resources of energy right here in America. We cannot develop them due to the restrictions our own government has place on them. It's a policy that no other developed county follows.

The Powers That Be : MSNBC Genius of the Day: NASCAR Racers Go 500 Miles Per Hour

Dude, the laws of physics demand an air/fuel ratio of around 14.5:1. Get too far away from that figure, the engine won't run. They're already getting as much mileage as they can for a race car. The whole idea of a racing engine is to get as much fuel in each cylinder as possible to produce the maximum amount of power.

Virginia Right! : ANTI-AGENDA 21 RESOLUTION adopted by the CITY of COLFAX (CA)! PEOPLE are WAKING UP!

This is very good news. Now that the hoax of man-made global warming (AGW) has be exposed, it's time to retire any and all legislation that pertains to it. Any elected official who still accepts this premise is incapable of thinking for themselves and is unfit for office. They should be voted out as soon as possible. Americans need to be vigilant at the local level. The MSM will not report on issues like this. It's up to all of us take a leading role in local politics to prevent anti-American initiatives, especially with respect to the environment, (pushed by unaccountable bureaucrats in global organizations) from being implemented.
If I had only got here one hour earlier, I'd have posted the same comment. Also, Gary Sinise plays in a band, perhaps Rush could gget something from him.
The Heritage Foundry : Electromagnetic Pulse: Not If but When

I sincerely hope that there are military personnel who are aware of this grave potential threat and are already preparing for an attempted strike. There are some of us who have been aware of this type of threat for quite some time, but we never hear it mentioned from anyone in government. However, this is understandable to a certain extent. If we don't already have a missile system (or other method) in place to combat this, we should.

Commentary Magazine : The Nixonian Paranoia of David Brock

That George Soros is the common denominator in this should come as a surprise to exactly no one. The former Nazi collaborator has a long track record of destroying economies. His contempt for innocent people is well documented, and his responsibility for the economic suffering of many is indisputable. He looks upon his meddling in the affairs of many countries around the world as great sport. It is clear that he has focused his efforts on crippling, if not bringing down, America. Just for fun, perhaps the DC should do a bit of investigation into Soros' Secretary of State Project, as this is designed to install the political equivalent of Media Matters into power nationwide.

Breitbart.com : Davos elites to seek reforms of \'outdated\' capitalism

It is indeed ironic that those who have done the most to interfere with capitalism with their incessant meddling, overregulation and lawmaking (all done under the guise of "doing something" to justify their useless bureaucratic jobs) now propose to "fix" things. The global economy model isn't working, based as it is on socialism and state control by a small group of out-of-touch elites and eschewing the God-given rights of the individual to be free that America's Founders plainly understood. If America had wise leaders and recognized and confronted our enemies, we would tell these global elites to mind thier own business. They have only one goal: to bankrupt us then enslave us. Well, that's really two goals, accomplished at the same time. We should withdraw from the failed model of global governance and become self-sufficient while producing enough surplus for trade with other nations. Our dependence upon anyone else will be our downfall. We have the natural resources, but our own government, under the control of Socialist/Marxist/Alinskyites, will never allow us to utilized them until they are voted out of office and returned to the fringes of society where they belong.

Hell hath no fury like a Tingler scorned. So I smell BS. This is a setup from the SCOAMF's head cheerleader, preparing the ground for battle. Obama has nothing but his record of economic destruction to run on, so we'll have to wait to see what else spews from Matthew's mouth.Whatever it is, it won't be the truth.
