What a load of rubbish, of course lockdowns work, they clearly reduce transmission. The NHS may have been overwhelmed in 2018, but that isn’t an argument for deliberately and wilfully overwhelming the NHS this winter, particularly with the vaccine arriving over the hill. Please don’t be so selfish.

I have reluctantly come to the same conclusion.

There does appear to be a lack of drive on the vaccination programme. It seems unlikely that we will have 2 m vaccinated by Xmas (30,000 last week, 250,000), which does strike me as utterly pathetic.

To squander the economic and human benefits of 'winning' the vaccine arms race appears, well rubbish.

Why aren't vaccination centres open 24 /7, where is the totaliser on the government website showing how far we have to go before all restrictions can be lifted? Please get the military to run this, nothing else in the British State appears to work.

hopefully this can be driven down further over time. We are still spaffing £10bn up the wall, money we don't have and are having to borrow to fund this profligacy.

Could you layout President Trumps conservative values other than hawkishness on China, and strong rhetoric on border issues (poor delivery). Otherwise he is all over the place, insulting veterans, and being a generally nasty orange sociopath.

Mike Pompeo would be a great choice next time round

Well at least he can read the auto queue for 20 minutes, which on previous form I would have doubted. He isn’t all there though is he? What an awful choice the Americans have an orange sociopath with daddy issues and a narcissistic personality and another old fella who ought to be in a retirement home.

that worked well, didn't it? Ministers can't escape accountability. As both Williamson with Ofqual and Hancock with Pubic health England

(sorry)

oh dear. Even as Boris and Cumming's greatest fan, the last 3 months have been a train crash.

What has happened to their political antenna? Surely this was easy to see coming? We now have the Times and the hated BBC effectively directing government policy.

I never thought I would say this but unless he can get a grip I suspect that Boris will have to go once Brexit is really done. Sunak is sound on Brexit so I don't think it is the end of the world.

I would like to see more competence and fight (Not flight!) from the government.

Oh and Williamson, Hancock, Jenrick, Sharma Coffey, Truss and Wallace all need to go quickly
