But, she is taking a page from the President and telling a "lawyer's lie". She was clearly told about the techniques, BUT they simply did not say "we are currently using these techniques". They said, "these are the techniques we intend to use." Based on that parsing she claims she was never told they were using them. That may be technically true in terms of a court case, but it is still a lie. Just like the president saying he is cutting your taxes and then hammering you on the other end with all kinds of hidden taxes. In the end you will end up with a lot less money. So, is that a lie? To me it is. Pelosi is lying, but that is not the bigger problem. The bigger problem is why are they doing this? Obviously it is cover for yet another hose job yet to be revealed.
