UDFA signings are my favorite because of their cost-efficiency. I'm depressed about not having any instant gratification this year.

Hopefully youthful indiscretions. Hopefully.

Safety or bust.... :D

I'm over drafting running backs. The Colts are the only team that has to because of the blitz pick-up and how important it is to Peyton. Hopefully Castonzo and Ijalana make that harder for defenses. A 4th rounder?

Deep breath. If he's Collie value great. If we don't get Joe back, I understand. Worrying at this point about safety though, despite knowing better.

Also: Patriots suck. Morons. Mallett? What are they smoking? The same stuff as him, I guess.

Instant Draft Grading receives an overwhelming FAIL. F-Minus. I know, I read them too because temptation and boredom. But still.

We all know these things are worthless, and judging a draft 3 years down the line is still hard, let alone instantly.

I have a feeling Colts nailed two starting linemen with rounds 1 and 2 and a possible starter, definite rotation player with Nevis. A++ right? Heck, Castonzo could be no better than Johnson and the second rounder and fourth rounder Pollak and Traylor respectively.

So, I'm excited now. We'll see. I hate this grading. I fail Mel Kuyper on principle.

Bethea went in the sixth (I think, I want to say 7th, but I think that was corrected not too long ago by somebody). Bullitt went undrafted. Matt Giordano was a 4th.

Lesson: Safeties can come cheap. Sanders was a game-changer, not too many of those at any position in the league. If we hit a starter/challenger to Bullitt in the 4th or 6th then good for us.

Agreed. Few sports have as severe a separation of regular season play vs. post-season play degree of difference as NBA basketball does.

Even if the Pacers get swept it provides experience. Sometimes, losing experience is the best there is. It can provide motivation and a learning experience.

A team as young as the Pacers could use both in major doses.

I think those who didn't cry when we won the Super Bowl would be the odd man/woman out on this blog, Nate.

Donovan's stoppage time winner versus Algeria is another one I watch to get the adrenaline flowing in an instant.

He'd take Ricky Williams over Edge in a revised 1999 draft, probably.

Look at Williams career numbers and longevity!

Cowherd is a Pats apologist. It's to be expected.

I don't even read Kravitz columns online. And they are free.
