http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/ : Fly Union Flag every day, urges UUP - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk

Funnily enough, while the germans tried to destroy my city, and my country, "The Brits never did me any harm..." so I can see where your dad was coming from. Anyway, at the risk of repeating what I just wrote elsewhere, again you seem to have me confused with someone else, " hate driven brainwashed paranoid minds of many Unionists like yourself " - really ought to read "common sense driven mind". Nobody with an ounce of wit wants a united Ireland right this moment (yourself included - are you a, gasp, unionist?! I think not). Since I am more than open to the idea, down the road, when it might actually be beneficial to all concerned, that hardly makes me 'die hard unionist'. Since increasingly, as you well know (and support), more and more decisions are going to our new overseas leaders (EU) it hardly matters. Once we are all part of 'Ireland', in the United States of Europe, I wont be any less Northern Irish than I am today.

I think once again you have confused me with some sort of die hard unionist/loyalist. Suprising given the number of times you have been corrected, but anyway. It doesnt demean me, or sadden me, in the slightest to 'argue such a point'. Firstly, as I consider myself Northern Irish (after all, I was born there) first and foremost. Anything second to that, is indeed, secondary. Secondly, as I wasnt actually argueing any point (youll notice I said 'regardless of your views on the subject, or facts/opinions") it bothers me even less. Pointing out how you completely and utterly contradicted yourself was the sole purpose of the post. I made the that comment purely for my own amusement, as you were clearly getting yourself a little confused. We all spotted it, and I didnt want you to miss out on the laugh. Evidently the red (green?) mist came down and you just saw unionist/flag/UK and starting spouting your usual material.

Looks like 8Bill got you there Euro. Completely contradicted yourself: - "You ask "What makes Belfast different from any other UK city" Maybe it's because the majority of the people there don't regard themselves as British..... " Implying Belfast is different to other UK cities because most people do not consider themselves British. You then go on to say: -"And it takes quite a push to get a Welshman to admit to being British..... and then only because it is self evident since he was born in Britain. As for the Scots.....well that's mostly a harder task entirely. " So it seems Belfast is DIFFERENT to the rest UK because the majority there dont call themselves Brittish...but in 2 out of the remaining 3 participating countries, you claim noone there calls themselves British either. Belfast doesnt sound so different after all. Regardless of your views on the subject, or the facts/opinions you have stated - you did, quite obviously, contradict yourself.

Thank you for updating your response Euro, the first one smacked of getting the joke, but the extended version has clarified you did not. So that you know, it was a joke at your expense, highlighting your love of overseas 'rule' when it comes from some countries, but not others. You would also sell your soul for Euros, but I didnt think that was quite specific enough. Anyway, I have only been in another galaxy for about 11 years, hence 'not knowing' the DM was gone... I might suggest when you are handing out advice for life, you may want to consider this - getting off the Bel Tel round about could be good for you. How many times a week do you repeat yourself to people who really couldnt care less how 'progressive' you think you are, and more than that, will never, ever (8Bill) come round to agree with you.

What rubbish are you spouting now? Where is the outrage? Saying it is there doesnt mean it is. Are you working for the BT Website? Trying as hard as you can to make something out of aboslutely nothing? Would make sense actually, considering your multiple profiles, that would explain a lot.

I dont see 'outrage' from any DUP 'evangelical, fundamentalist extremists (Im pretty sure by the way your little tag line is an oxymoron) - I see one DUP man make the very valid point that he wasnt sure if it was just a cheap publicity stunt, but he doesnt appear remotely outraged. And I see on DUP man who is a bit further up the scale, but again hardly outrage, and hardly plural.

Thought process of the Belfast Telegraph editor: "There were more tits than usual at stormont this weekend, quick, somebody get their nine year old child to write an almighty piece of sh** 'story' so we can stick a picture of boobs on the website - and make sure you put the links to the real life Barbie and Rio Carnival photo albums up there" "And another thing, find some random nobody who once said something even mildly homophobic and get a story in about that, we want to drive up the traffic on the comments forum by winding up our 10 regular posters"

I dont think Northern Ireland actually cares less - just BelTel website would like you to believe they did. But then, that same website attaches pictures of the topless women, to an article that expressly talks about papers using the image to sell papers...the irony. "Some feminists would argue that women are degraded by the way in which the female body is exploited to sell all kinds of products, including some tabloid newspapers." which should have continued, "and to even drive up the traffic on the Belfast Telegraph website, much like our use of the Rio Carnival photo album, and just about any other pictures we can squeeze in on people with very few cloths on"

Bongo, you seem to be a big fan of tolerance...just not of religious people? Why is that? Why is everyone free to find their place, noone else's place blah blah blah, but if that place happens to be in a church, suddenly they are 'loonies' and you are happy to ridicule them for finding 'their place'. Your even thankful they are a 'dying lot' (not actually correct, but who cares). Seems a bit of an absurd position you have.

I'm familiar with what the 'point' is. That's why I made this comment. Is it even possible to disagree with simple questions? Of course people can disagree with answers, but not usually questions. In my experience it mostly seems to happen when people know the answer, don't like the answer, won't give the answer - and then get upset that someone would dare to even mention the answer. It's all very grown up.

I'm not sure how that is relevant, or how it answered the question? I'm afraid cherry picking is no more of a valid criticism of the bible than it is a valid defence.
