What are the odds that a person who has a past with abusive behavior towards children would have a child disappear ? Hmmm......!

2News - Boise, ID : HBO, Mormons square off over airing of sacred rite | KBCI CBS 2 - News, Weather and Sports - Boise,

The LDS church did away with polygamy a long time ago. The "Fundamental LDS (the people who wanted to keep the bloodlines of Joseph Smith for their prophets an leaders even though the church was going a different direction) are the ones who have the polygamist house holds (law breaking criminals), and are the ones being portrayed by the HBO show. The two groups don't share temples or churches with each other, they are "separate", both have continued to use the sacred practices of the LDS church. The LDS members want to protect (keep sacred) their sacred ceremonial practices. I like to explain it to my children in a way that they can understand. So I tell them about how I once went to an Indian dance ceremony. While there I was able to watch the Indians dress up in special attire for their dance to remember their ancestors, the LDS have special attire too (they ware it only in their temples). The Indian's dance, and sing sacred ceremonial prayers, the LDS people say ceremonial prayers, do baptisms, and preform other ordinances like marriages. The Indian's and the LDS have one belief that are similar. Neither one likes to have photo's / video of the sacred ceremonies taken. It is not to keep it a secret from people it is about keeping their sacred practices sacred. You can't blame them for wanting to keep their practices sacred. If the FLDS can create such issues for the LDS imagine what the world could do with such ceremonies if interpreted by ignorance.
