O, yes, aaand another thing: Speaking of clarity, which country buys "enough elections," Bill? Hard to tell if it's Iran or the Saudis on top of the auction bids. My bet's on Iran; the lying about "red lines," the soft-on-Iran staffers, the appearance of Chuckie...as subtle as a fart in a bathysphere, all that. And the money seems to flow like a spring river, as flush neo-Nazis, leftists, commies, Occupy crowders, Paulbots and other isolationist pretend-play as "America-firsters" to protect Iran and pile into Israel for, well, just existing. O, go on, Bill, don't be coy, which part of that higglety-pigglety fifth column are you really with? When the talk is limited to Jews and Israel, it's impossible to tell the difference between a goose-stepping brown-shirt and a hippie liberal, a smelly Occupy bum and a Stephen Walt, or a Paulbot and a Muslim Brotherhood gork, you know. Crazy times, huh?

Not really, Bill. We all get word-sloppy on the blogs, and still in this case ModerateGuy's meaning is clear. Let me be clearer: A weakened US administration, under the present circumstances, is better for the US and its allies then a strong one. It means the petulant egomaniac can not pursue his policies all the way to the end, such as strategically and politically wrecking Israel, throwing the Czechs and Poles under the Russian bus or setting up Turkey as the Ottoman power-broker in Southern Europe and the Balkans. Everything will be half-arsed, of course, like his
résumé and still, the drone will do enough damage through inaction, as is. Not my fault you folks are in this predicament, though.

All the best to you, Alana. You will be sorely missed.

Hmm. ModerateGuy's wording could, by a stretch of the imagination and a generous helping of mendacity be read to mean what you pretend it means, Bill, but if read in context, it's clear that what he means is that it's a blessing that the current administration is too weak to wreak serious havoc. There, incidentally, I respectfully disagree with ModerateGuy, as I think your unfortunate Dufus-in-Chief and his merry loonies can yet surprise us.

You see, Bill, you're flagging the wrong parties. A dead giveway. The problem, we all ken, isn't Israel, nor the Czechs, Poles, us Canucks or all the conservatives in the Free World laughing at and dismissing what you've installed in the White House. They're certainly embarrassed for you, but do wish America and Americans well. The problem is the obvious contempt by your deadly enemies. You're a funny "patriot," what with your coddling up to the nasties and spitting at the friendlies. More like a clever little Persian fellow with Level 9 ESL under his belt, what?

You've done the argumentum ad hominem already.

Here, and in the post above, you have cut and pasted a collection of lies, some actionable, directly from the website of a radical organization, sourcewatch.org.

You ripped off Creative Commons material without attribution and hid the source and the fact that it was written by someone other than yourself.

You plagiarized.

Your credibility is toast and you've opened yourself to civil action by at least 4 sources. You're a lepper....syaonara!

Unfortunately, this post here continues its downward bump towards the "older posts" event horizon, but those interested in reading another of Anthony's posts on this subject and the guest commentary below it can go to:

NOAA SOTC FOR DECEMBER 2012 by Anthony Watts, January 8, 2013

A pithy comment by one of the wags in the comments section reminds us" "Weren’t the same people [i.e., NOAA] constantly reminding us a couple years ago, when the US was cold, that it was an insignificant fraction of the earth’s surface?" (mike g, January 8, 2013 at 10:58 am)

Good one! This one's worth looking into. Warmist claims about rising global temperatures often depend on picking regions and starting points which would produce the infamous "hockey stick" graph. Basically, it's a perception shtik. On a much larger scale, the CO2 warming claims only work if one edits out pre-Holocene paleohistorical records of much, much warmer periods with lower levels of atmospheric CO2.

Perhaps. And if I were, it still wouldn't change the rules of science and you still lost this debate. To a lunatic, no less.

Toodle-pips, old boy; you used up all the classic argument fallacies, so might as well give it up.
