I found it kind of ridiculous and rather sad/pathetic when I was first introduced to the concept, but it was also harmless so it's not like I needed to be against it persay, just keep it away. XD But now I think it's awesome to be a part of this community, you guys are great.

Thanks for the advise man. But I think the code your talking about is already applied when you book via the BronyCon website, and though yes, it helps a lot, it's still a bit hard for me to come up with that kind of cash.

Hey all, I'm not exactly used to making posts here, but I have an issue that I'm hoping I can get some help with.

I live in Kernersville, NC (near Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point) and I'm planning to attend BronyCon. I can make the drive with no problem and tickets arent so much an issue, but hotel prices are something I am having difficulty with. Like most of us here, I assume, I have a fairly limited social life and so finding friends to split the hotel room cost with is not really a possibility. So, to all of you here on EQD, if you are having a similar predicament and need someone to room with, please let me know at my email address: drfeist@uncg.edu.

If you live near the area (say, within an hour of Kernersville) and would like to meet me in person beforehand, I am open to doing so. If you're interested, just shoot me an email and we can discuss things from there.

I have mixed feelings, yes, I want them to attain their goal. However, I know at the same time that once they do most of their fun loving antics will come to a screeching halt. Also, I feel like the epiaode they finally do will be awesome, but also fairly predictable or anticlimactic in some way. Over, I don't want it to happen, but I know it should. But I guess that's part of watching somepony grow up.
