I agree. It's all about not taking responsibility for one's own actions. I know there are justifiable killings, and I know I don't know all the facts on this case, but from what little is reported here, I can't see this one as being justifiable.

I fully agree about your observation here. It's a very real possibility that the family said he was "possibly suicidal" so they could get a search going sooner. Otherwise, it could be said that he just wanted to be left alone. It could very well have been a tragic accident.
I hope everyone finally leaves this family alone. Those kids will be fine. No matter what else happens in their lives, they'll always have each other.
There's nothing like whale watching. I try to take my out of state visitors on a whale watching trip at least once while they're here.
I think you're wrong. There may have been nothing they could do to save the woman, but it is within an EMT's scope to at least check for a pulse and breathing, and possibly perform CPR. As an EMT, they DO know how to do that, and they don't need "tools". If the woman dies after simple steps such as that, they can truly say they did all they could. Altazi is right. Inaction is utterly reprehensible.

Fish don't have drapes/curtains/blinds, but most people do. You're right. Courtesy and civility are virtually nonexistent these days.
I don't understand your logic any more than shadow01 does. Why do you think it's okay to have kids for child labor, and not for love? What makes you think the Duggars are "attempting a world record" or are "hoarders"? There were 24 total children in my family. If you think MY parents were "going for a world record" or were "hoarders", or even had us for child labor, you are dead wrong.
