HGTV Dreams Happen: Sweepstakes Blog : A Designer and Potter Walk Into a Barn

I used to cater. Everything would be made from scratch. Took a lot more time and the labor would be much more than if I used pre-mixed/ready to bake/pre-chopped, etc. Oft times up all hours just to make sure "freshness" of product was apparent. I was probably the only person that understood how intensified was my satisfaction with the end product. So -I understand Josh. Now, did you get that term "used to cater"? Just cook for friends now. Same way, same final product attention, same feeling of satisfaction, a little more time and joint pain expended. Must be an age thing.

HGTV Dreams Happen: Sweepstakes Blog : Celebrate New Year's Day With HGTV Dream Home 2015!

Hi, Vesna-try this. Look at your browser info. If there is a circle (usually blue) with a diagonal slash in it, some of the site pop-up info is being blocked. This can happen even when you have allowed pop-ups for a given site. If there is a slashed circle in your browser info, between the search glass and the refresh icon, then place your mouse on it; it will say if info is being blocked. Then click where advised and the dots usually go away. If this does not work, I hope something else does.

I've managed to be happy with candles (from tea lights to 3 wickers) every where, with some magnolia branches from the overgrown front yard tree stuffed in vases as compliments. Think I could make that work here. And Thanksgiving, or any other dinner , in that kitchen- to- living- room- area just cries out "entertainment city".

CplusE, I'm taking an opportunity to piggyback on your excellent tour guide suggestions. The new College Football Hall of Fame, The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the 200 foot tall SkyView Atlanta Ferris Wheel (with the Georgia Aquarium and The World of Coca Cola) are all near Centennial Olympic Park and are good places for time well spent. And if you ever have the opportunity, walk -not ride- from domestic Concourse A to Concourse E at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport; worthy of the walk, it is an art exhibit not many know of.

Hi, Cami and Coop -Not to change the Hawaii thought trend, but just to share a warm smile with you. I worked for an airline, selling tickets face-to-face to a lot of tropical (Hawaii included) places. Oft times, when a customer was traveling to some place other than "the islands", especially in the winter, the discussion got around to the "how often do you use your benefits to fly there?" question. Well, sometimes the imp in me took advantage of the name of the street I live on (a 20 minute drive from downtown ATL), and say "Oh, I'm going to Montego Bay after work today." The look of vicarious joy would be just wonderful. Of course, I would set the picture straight, and then we would have a good time laughing and dreaming. Then, at the end of the day I would drive to Montego Bay Drive, remembering and smiling.

My neighbor planted bamboo to hide his pool. Well, it has hidden his pool and the area between our houses. Now, it is a major problem in my yard, making lawn care extremely difficult. And while my neighbor came to apologize for what he called his "judgment error", it does not solve my problem (the stuff pops up/grows EVERY WHERE). However, if it is what you want, do as one of your repliers suggests and put it in pots. Pretty please. P.S. -I would like to know how to get rid of it, too. Suggestions. Oh, yes my neighbor moved. Bamboo didn't.
