Ok, thanks. Also I see lots of reports out there that there is a different team/researcher like Pois0n or Wiscom who found exploit and jailbroke 6.1.3 and are soon to release a jailbreak for 6.1.4. Is it valid for iPhone 5 or neither it is ?

Hi, I just had my iPhone 5 replaced at an Apple store for a brand new one. Unfortunately it comes with 6.1.4, and I didn't keep track of where the jailbreak stopped: can I do it with 6.1.4 ? If not, will there be a jailbreak coming for iOS7 or will we have to wait 5 month as usual, in which case I'll just switch to a Galaxy?

Pfew a few hours before release. But it must have been 2 years since I haven't JBed an iPhone (I switched for sometimes) Will the tool be easy like Pwnage Tool, and do I need some special manipulation (like saving my iphone) before using it ?

Yep, I get it. It's matter of releasing it for the best stable version, but why always assuming it's the 6.1 ? The 6.0.1 works perfectly as is, that's why I didn't update, and it didn't change much from the 6.0 either. If Apple wants to fix the exploit, then so be it, hackers will find another one. It's like waiting to upgrade you computer or smartphone because you're affraid they might release a new one few month after, but you don't know when...

No as in "Not yet, we still have to wait until a talented hacker finds an exploit" or "No there will never be a jailbreak because the dev-team gave up?"

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : MacBook Air Thunderbolt editing 4K video shows why the Mac Pro as we know it can die

SO WAIT WAIT WAIT I'm pretty satisfied with my Macbook Air because it's ultra sleek/light and does everything I need on one device that I can carry with me blah blah, EXCEPT that I've been struggling to play high graphic video games or have good video processing and I don't want to have two different computers... BUT now you are telling me that with TB I can just plug an external graphic card and everything is fine ? THAT'S GENIUS!!! I want to know more. What should I buy or install to play Crisis 2, Skyrim or GTA 4 with extreme HD graphics on my MBA???

(following my previous post) That's a complete FAIL. I fired up Pwnagetool 4.1.3 and it didn't even find the firmware of my iPod Touch 4G. Problem is: I can't either. There's no trace of the ipt4G firmware in the library, itunes or application support. So I can I even jailbreak before my flight ?

Thank you. So 4.1u it'll be. Some friend show me how to use PwngeTool on mac which seems pretty simple, is it still available, for ipt4G ?

anyone, for a "quick fix" ?
Hi, everybody. So i'm completely new to all this and I have pretty simple questions, because I just bought an iPod Touch 4G, it's 4.1 iOS out of the box, and tomorow I'll have a 10 hours long flight, so I need to know: 1. Is it better to do an untethered 4.1 jailbreak right away then update to 4.2.1 ? 2. Or should I update to 4.2.1 first then do an untethered jailbreak ? 3. Is it even possible to do an untethered jailbreak for 4.2.1 ? Also I'm on a Mac, and I don't really now which software to use (PwnageTool, Limer1n, Redsnow...) ? Thanks for your patience.

That's the point of having an updated compatibility list. Here's the wiki on which you can find a compatibility list (yes FF7 works perfectly) but it's not up to date.
