I think this decision shows the integrity that Sarah has and how she won't sacrifice that integrity just for politics like almost every other politician does. I don't think she cracked in any way. She has suffered an unprecedented vicious attack from the so called "tolerant" left that can't stand a woman thinking independently, I think they are actually jealous of her because she does what they can't.

If she were any other politician she would be thinking of herself only but she thought of her family and state. So she did what I would have done and saw the greater good no matter what criticism she receives. That is a person of strength and not weakness as you will soon learn.

Hey lefties this only raises here opinion in mind as she won't play your game. You did the wrong thing by attacking her and you will pay for it in the future. This woman is tough and won't give up or go away.

I was a liberal for 25 years and theses vicious attacks and "intolerance" from the left is one of the main reasons I left liberalism this last year. You are only tolerant of others when they join you're hive mentality. The way you attacked this woman was so pathetic and says so much about what liberalism is and how we must fight it.

Go Sarah! We support you even more as you have more humanity and heart than any of these career politicians who will lie and cheat and do anything they have too to get elected.

It's so nice to see someone that actually has a conscious and lives with integrity. That means more to me than anything in a leader. I am so tired of politics as usual and it's so hopeful to see someone stand up for something other than greed and power.

Anyone notice that Glenn's "An Open Letter to our Nation's Leadership" is not being listed under the "hottest petitions" section of thepetitionsite.com 's website even though it's currently at nearly 130,000 signatures plus?

It appears to be one of their hottest petitions if I am not mistaken and most others aren't even close to the amount of signatures that Glenn has especially in such a short time. Glenn's petition is also not listed under "browse all hottest petitions". There is another "open letter" similar to Glenn's listed in there about Janet's letter but why it's there and listed and Glenn's isn't I don't know as it only has 400 signatures. They were both started on June 17th.

Am I missing something here or are politics afoot? I sure hope not but I can't understand why Glenn's petition isn't being listed if it's so popular. Anyone with any experience with that website that could shed some light?

This past year American journalism died, they sold their souls and I'll never forgive them for this. From what ABC is doing presently to the pathetic "journalism" they have displayed this past year for Obama. Press, you were supposed to be the checks and balances to a corrupt government. You did not meet your responsibility. You failed miserably. You chose your path and we will hold you responsible to it. You have betrayed this Republic.

That letter Glenn read today from Janet was amazing and so expresses my thoughts and how I am feeling. I will add my signature to it. I've had it with a corrupt and unrepresentative government and press. Americans are waking up and we will fight this darkness. I can't wait for July 4th and the Tea Parties.

Thank You Fox News and especially Glenn Beck for raising peoples awareness of what is happening to our country and for reporting on the corruption as no one else will. Maybe one day the press and competition will understand why they are loosing viewers and Fox's ratings are growing so rapidly and how they have betrayed democracy. I challenge the press to attain that level of self awareness that they once had and rejoin the world of true journalism. Right now they are clueless as they have strayed so far.

I can only hope they will wake up and join the fight as we are loosing this country and our liberty so rapidly. Maybe they will start to understand on July 4th when they see the people raise their voices again.

This press conference was just another sad example of the press. I am utterly amazed that people can watch this man knowing all that he has done the last 100 days and still support him. Is this mass hallucination? Can the press grow a pair and do their jobs and actually report "objectively" on this President instead of being love sick and starry eyed? Am I asking that much? How can they look themselves in the mirror and call themselves "professional journalists?

What the media has demonstrated this last week with the reprehensible coverage of the tea parties demonstrates how bad things are and how we really need this movement. I knew the coverage would be biased but the intolerance that was shown towards the tea party attendees and their right to demonstrate says a lot of the left and mainstream media. I'm glad they lost control and showed us their true intent, it only galvanizes me more.

I will not give up and have been waiting many years for this type of movement. I sure want to thank Glenn Beck as I didn't realize how conditioned I was in grade school or college against our true heritage of a Constitutional Republic.

I sure hope we can get back to that level of personal accountability and caring for each other that we once had. We have so lost our way and for our sake and our children, this movement must not only continue but evolve and grow. I don't want to see our Constitution thrown away to only be controlled by European socialism and a government that serves itself instead of it's citizens. That type of government devastates ones creativity and spirituality. I've never been politically active before but I know so deep in my heart that this is the right time for this.

You said it wonderfully. She knows who she is and she gave it right back to those that had prejudged her. She is a tiger, God bless her and dare to dream. That had to be one of the most beautiful and unexpected moments I've ever experienced.

I've been so angry with how the press has treated the tea party coverage and something like this can really shock you back to what's important and fill you with hope.

The "progressive left" hasn't a clue how controlled they are and what's coming. They are cows being led to slaughter. The posts I've read are truly from such uneducated people who have no command of the facts. They have been conditioned and have so little original thought. Since they can't stand on the facts they have to result to verbal attacks. Just look at the comments of Glenn with the fainting incident yesterday and posts in this forum. Just go around the net and compare the level of maturity between the posts from the right to the left...no comparison. Who are the truly tolerant ones?....sure isn't the left, all they can do is be fanatical and push their victimization and political correctness on others. Ayers group wanted to kill the 25 million Americans they estimated that would not give into socialism. Wow how tolerant of the progressives.

Thanks to them I now know what self government is about and a government that serves the people and not itself. I also know what personal responsibility is about and not being a slave to the state. About keeping God as my directive force and not getting caught up in human vanity thinking the state is all knowing and the supreme height of civilization. The Constitution is of a far higher consciousness than any state itself has tried to achieve.

What is happening with these tea parties is about government taking over our lives and and you just don't understand that and yet it's so simple. Look at how the liberal media is so skewing all these reports on the tea parties, that's not journalism. I'm glad your doing it and now the rest of the country sees you for what you are. To think you can spend yourself to prosperity and not be enslaved for life paying off that debt. Anyone that believes that is just hopelessly conditioned out of any original thought.

I challenge the "citizen journalists" to cover the tea parties with objectiveness but given the history of the liberal media this last year that doesn't seem likely. I guess that's why Fox News and Glenn Beck are so popular and wipe the floor with any competition. Even skewed to the right it still gives more balance and objectiveness than the liberal media does.
