Thanks for your comment, Arthur. It's silly to me that even with the influx of sex-positivity, so many people are simply not comfortable commenting on a post like this. I appreciate the inspiration you lent me, and how your blog post created the space for more important discussion, dialogue and sharing to occur.

I think you definitely have something about your musings on tests being offered versus having to be requested. It's easier for many to say, "Sure" ... than it is to broach a subject as vast, confusing, intimidating and personal. Even though, as you remind, there's not much to getting tested, at all.

Another thank you for your kind words of encouragement, Arthur. It's the little things like that which motivate me to keep writing and sharing these stories.
