Drake Intelligence Group : Albuquerque--a "D" for Social Media?!

NM ranks 49th for penetration on facebook. We aren't doing any better there. http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats26.htm

Over on twitter Chris Ortiz (@ChrisJOrtiz) suggested it might have to do with the college graduation rates. Some quick numbers: According to facebook: City: ABQ 27.7% Boulder 40.2% Seattle 29.9% Population on fb: 295,920 128,880 1,082,200 College: 81,940 51,780 323,960 Per US Census ABQ 31.8% with bachelors degree or higher Boulder 66.9% with bachelors degree or higher Seattle 47.2% with bachelors degree or higher Albuquerque seems to have the lowest gap between college educated and those on facebook. We also have the lowest amount with a degree.

Drake Intelligence Group : The Lones Group: a "case" of online reputation

Janie, this is classic how NOT to protect your brand image. It's is a major fail and one that might take ages to recover. The speed at which this has moved through the online community shows the power of relationships - something they clearly don't understand.

Missy, I don't see how. If anyone can trademark the stripe it would be the zebras! I was thinking my daughters zebra, pictured here, is about 12 years old. Stripy has been "using" the computer for ages. Maybe The Lones Group wants to file against her. ;) Even if you win fighting a damn stupid lawsuit is a HUGE distraction. I hope this clears up quickly for Daniel and his herd of zebras!

Three more on page two. I'm thinking in the few hours some of those might move to page one. Someone hadn't thought this out.

Sometimes it seems people are just collecting followers. favstar.fm is great. It's interesting to see who is favoriting tweets as many of them never chat with me online.

Drake Intelligence Group : FourSquare Does Not Mean "Open For Robbery"

Tobi - Thanks, it\'s just a matter of balance.

Thesa - What kind of phone do you have? I can see some use at a conference or for other events.

Mike - Another good point. Daytime robberies while people are at work. I know let\'s not work outside the home then. It\'s too risky ;)

Bob – I don’t believe in leaving a roadmap for would-be robbers. On the other hand, I don’t feel the need to let paranoia cripple my day-to-day actives. Jeremy, who doodled Larry, is an investigative reporter. When he got married, everyone knew that he would be honeymooning out of the country. He didn’t get robbed.

My husband frowns on me having a wife, but I understand your point. I’m sure at some point during the day, people assume I leave the house. If they are that motivated, they can just park nearby and wait for me to leave. I speak, I go to events, and I will not let paranoia prevent me from talking about these. Speaker: Mystery Lady.
