The resurrection of the U.S. auto industry was good for middle class America, and as we have repeatedly observed over the past 3 years, if it is good for the vast majority of Americans, then it is bad for the GOP. It was only good for the UAW. The Obama administration screwed GM Bondholders, and the retirement funds of the glorious workers for whom Pres. Obama is supposed to be looking out. Also, how about the GM dealers that got "effed " by Pres. Barry? Those dealership workers and suppliers are out on the street. But the Unions? They made out like bandits.
