If only. I did manage to get the core deck sent to me here in Europe, but only because someone volunteered to handle international shipping for the Indiegogo campaign long ago (I'm forever grateful). I was hoping I'd be able to be able to pick up the expansions at a European con at some point, despite what the FAQ says, but I guess not. :|
Though to be honest, I seldom get to meet other bronies AFK, so I mostly play the game over Tabletop Simulator. Physical decks are more of a Fun Thing to Have™, much like all the printed fanfiction sitting on my bookshelf.

> Remove youtube episodes, we have no growth.
Well put! That's what I would say, though using a lot more words. ;) Gotta remember this one. :)

I live in Sweden and I'm holding my Visa card in my hand right now. Please point me to where I can buy the latest episodes. It takes about a year for episodes to show up – with an inferior Swedish dub that makes my ears bleed. Episodes will eventually find their way to Netflix, including the english dub (surprisingly), but not iTunes or any other service that I know of.
If I have to wait an extra year for each episode then I wouldn't be able to be part of the global community. Anywhere I go I'd risk getting spoiled. Seeing as how ponies are everywhere I might as well stay of the internet entirely. Sticking to the local Swedish community would only work if everyone else also waited for the Swedish dub. It's just not realistic (Plus, it's a small community.)
And face it, just about anyone in the non-English-speaking world get the latest episodes from YouTube, Dailymotion or Bittorrent. Cutting of these sources would mean killing off a large portion of the community including all their art, music, fiction etc.
Distribution methods still haven't adapted to the global digital age. Make it too hard or inconvenient and piracy starts looking like a better option. That's the reality of it. In fact, getting rid of geo-blocking and creating a "Digital Single Market" has become a prioritised issue for the EU Commission.
Buy the way, I also pirate the comics on the day they are released since we don't have any comic shops in this country. You know what I do next? I wait for the paperbacks, because at least those I can buy from book stores, and then _I buy all of them_.

Thing is, they've been pushing Flash for a long time to do things it wasn't designed for: complex animation and tons of models and animation layers. It's bursting at the seams and Toon Boom is the way forward. I even have vague memories of someone mentioning they'd do season six in Toon Boom as a learning experience in preparation for the movie (maybe that's just wishful thinking). I assume it's a powerful enough program that it'll be able to recreate much of the current look and feel of the show.

So many indie games are being released on OSX and Linux these days that I've started to take it for granted.

I've been waiting for 1 1/2 years for another long adventure arc, so I'm really looking forward to these issues. Knowing that it'll star Lightning Dust is the icing on the cake. I seem to have developed a thing for brash, tomboyish pegasi.
