I think the Stink will more than ready. I don't think any other game on their schedule could get their ship righted more than this one . . . They are picked to loose a close game, at home, to their arch rival . . . smh

I am so excited about this team and the potential it has. What tempers that excitement is our strength of schedule and "ranking" as a #2 defense. It should be high based on who we have played so far. The men have clearly worked hard and have played 2.5 really good games. But let's look at what we have done and what we have coming up. I'm not in to rankings per se', but here are the latest USA today Saragin ratings - please note these rank all FBS and FCS teams 1- 254:

We are 73 with a 175 ranked schedule

Not trying to be a downer, and the d has been good, but we need to keep up the dominating efforts against these weak teams. Why? To continue to show that we are working hard and trying to get better. A nail bitter in the next few weeks would be cause for concern IMO. When App plays the underdog role against similar completion, the results are generally very good. I hope we can keep it up.

I was at that VMI game, and it wasn't too long ago when Wyoming beat us like 52 -14. Play hungary, get better, and fine tune . . . The Stink is coming!

Good first game, great crowd on the home side and hill, no idea on visitor side, that's where I was. Would love to know status of our 2 injuries. Excited about next week.
