I concur with the 'wow' statement. I've never even heard of your site, and i have to say this is a pretty powerful first read.

The response she gave when you asked how her feelings toward the death of the child truly terrifies me. In the end it seems as if all of her fervor could never serve to make her a fundamentally decent person.

I don't find very much security in the idea of 'creation science' becoming the great compromise among kids who want to pursue science yet retain the mystic ideals of their upbringing. To me, the very phrase is an oxymoron and those who seek to propagate it are inadvertently (at worst, intentionally) diluting true scientific progress.

Thanks for the link to the excerpt. I haven't read anything by Dawkins due to what can only be described as apathy, however, this was definitely a pleasure.
