It was much easier to bond with Jack once he wasn't causing me so much pain all the time. Plus Jack was feeding for at least 30-40 minutes and then would want feeding again after an hour, so I wasn't pinned down all the time. We were told is was unlikely to be a problem so it wasn't worth treating, but I'm starting to suspect that was causing at least some of the problems. (Jack had a really horrible trick where he'd manage to suck a bit of the areola up between his lip and gum, giving it a hickey. It was so painful, but It didn't happen that often so I wasn't sure if it was 'normal'.)
