I have shsh saved for 4.0 4.0.2 4.1 4.2.1 apparently. Now can anyone tell me how to update the software? I only want to go to 4.0.1 cos i dont want to change the BB to the ipad one. I have the old bootrom and previously unlocked with ultrasn0w. I have tried google and reading other posts but cant figure out where i go to get 4.0.1!!!! Do do it through itunes? I went to try that but it wanted to upgrade me to 4.2?? Do i use ultrasn0w again cos i used that the first time?? Help please!! I have a 3Gs 3.1.3 5.12 which I jailbroke and unlocked with Ultrasnow. To date I havnt upgraded any futher because of the issues around the battery draining problems - is this still a problem? Or should I try it now? Also when I open the iTunes on my iPhone, then select 'ringtones' - to try and download some - rather than opening the ringtones section it just goes back to the phone page with my applications on it. Everything else seems to work eg opening the 'music' or 'search' etc. Has anyone else had this? Does anyone now how to fix it? I successfully JB and UL a couple of months ago (thanks DEV Team!!) and am now waiting to upgrade the software to 4. 1) From what I understand I cant upgrade the software to 4 because I dont have origional SIM and therefore will loose my UL? 2) Will there ever be a release where I can upgrade to 4 and still be able to JB and UL without the origional SIM? 3) If not, can someone advise me exactly how to get a AT&T SIM or Phonebook SIM? (I saw that these were available on ebay from a previous post but dont know what im meant to look for when buying one?)
