I agree with you. first of all, who exactly will be paying for him, the 84% cules that want him here? we have a specific priority and that is a cb that can play defensive midfield. and we cannot HOPE that busi won't get injured, tired, etc. Yes we have masche, but last time i checked, our defensive line-up isn't exactly extensive. considering villa is coming back and alexis will only be getting better and iniesta and cesc can both play as forward, and then there is pedro and tello, and for God's sake even deulofeu with the form he is in on the short end, why spend the money now?? i don't get it. if money was not an issue, sure let's get him, but as of right now, i don't see how he will solve our primary problems, and he will also potentially bench players that cost us millions a year, or get benched himself, depending on how things work out for him...
What do you mean what is in his mind, he said various times that he needs a player who can play defense and midfield, and stressed that there are about 40-50 people in europe who can do that. he has not at any moment showed some over obesession about JM. as far as Neymar, I am pretty sure he will end up with Barca. there has been so much mutual affection from both sides, that it just seems inevitable. but hold your horses, his moment will come. he is playing for another team and wants to fulfill whatever objectives he has set for himself. we have to respect that.

i think if pique has some issues with stardom, it maybe has more to do with his high profile relationship to shakira, which i am sure demands a lot of him in that aspect. however, the guy has been with mango for a few years now, and it has not affected him. all these guys have other interests, whether it is iniesta and his bodega, or dani and his music aspirations. it's just that fashion gets a bad rep due to the whole vanity factor. however, being in the business, i can say that it is as serious as any other business, and some great artists and business people have worked in the area
don't be sexist. there is a fair share of females in the community. considering that quite a few of them are actually MAKING this site exist, it is only fair to respect that. also, last time i checked, there are no women on the team, so who do you want to show? do you really think it is more relevant to show the wags shopping, rather than our players' extracurricular activities?
right, i use intensedebate, and from what i understand, once you get to a certain number of thumbs down, you lose the privilege of posting? or am i misunderstanding it? fb just makes it very hard, some people don't use it much, others don't want their profile to look like a football blog, so it is unfortunate if only that will be left as an option. but i do understand the decision.
i completely agree with you. i am all for dealing with the trolling, however, i think it mostly happens during the summer, when the younger kids (not all, so no disrespect to our valuable high schoolers that participate in football discussions) are on holidays. Once school is back in session, it becomes evident that only the true fans still visit and partake in the community on a daily basis despite having other responsibilities.
Once we get into the season and things start heating up, i sometimes comment on an article multiple times, and when it's a big match, i comment like a crazy person in the live match chats. i wouldn't want to publish all that on FB, and also spam my friends' walls with things like GOAAAAAAAAAALLLLL and Mourinho you a**hole. especially considering that I want to be respectful and I have friends on FB that are fans of all kinds of different clubs. Hopefully there will be another option apart from FB for some of us to still stay with the community and participate fully!
