But it would kinda contradict the beliefs of the guy who's face they have on their titantron. Big Vlad sees Russia to be very separate from Europe and the west so really it makes no sense. It would be a cute bit of nostalgia but pretty ignorant of world affairs. Rusev has never once mentioned being a proud European so no need for a European title. Saved it for Cesaro if anyone.

Why? It would make 0 sense as Russia isn't part of the EU and for all intents and purposes hates Europe. Its part of Europe geographically but politically it makes no sense. Now it would have made sense for Cesaro to have a European title but not Rusev.
