Even if someone just shows up with their own signature and to talk with the staff about HR1207, that is a good opportunity to get some attention to the cause. (Especially if we can get it on film).

This is extremely short notice and it was never suggested by the CFL that we get handwritten signatures ahead of time (as opposed to the online petition).... They got 47,000 online signatures - if the states had been collecting hand written ones, that number might be significantly lower! We'll just put forward the best effort that we can and see how it works out.

Charlie - more good news could be coming.
The CFL has called an emergency conference call for state coordinators on HR1207 for Thursday night. They have not preannounced the details, but sounds like something big is planned.
