But yes, my thoughts exactly. I thought the beginning was pretty good, but then it just went downhill for me. I didn't like Hoges, the plot was lacking and unbelievable, plus the romance, or should I call it insta-romance.

Why, oh why?? I was really excited about this book, but I've seen a few bloggers say they didn't like it. I hate when you get excited about the book, and then the book turns out to be awful. But yeah, when the characters suck, it really affects the whole book. Thanks for your honest review Kirsty!

I'm kind of scared to read this one, because I want to like it and I'm afraid I won't, so that's why I'm delaying it, but I think at one point I will probably read this book. It seems to be one of those books that has a great message and it's really meaningful, so I really hope I'll like it.

I don't think I'd ever read Game of Thrones or The Lord of the Rings either. I hate reading something if I already watched it. And yeah... I really NEED to read Throne of Glass!
