The killing of the sea lions is to protect the fish at this particular location, correct? Thus the fish at this location are not allowed to be caught by fisherman, either, I'm assuming? I would like to see that addressed in the news story.

I read in another article that the bits of meat they use for this are actually cuttings that wind up on the floor when trimming other pieces of meat. That makes it even more alarming, if true.
