Big Hollywood : Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, Andrew

Funny. I believe that Andrew Breitbart would be totally amused by this comment knowing that he p!zzed you off that much, knowing that he got under your skin, knowing that he made progress in annoying the crap out of a leftist loon. Breitbart loved this country, Kennedy loved power...and his family name, not much else. Just Sayin'...

Big Hollywood : 'The Way' DVD Review: Estevez, Sheen Embark on Emotional, Exhausting Journey

Tomtom, unfortunately for Charlie, he needs to experience the movie...in real life. Perhaps, he will find himself. Not too long ago, he was an actor with a chance, now he is just, well, Charlie. I've always like Emilio, however. Just Sayin'...

Big Hollywood : BH Interview: Emilio Estevez - Secular Hollywood Ignores Spiritual Audiences

LK, from what I understand, the elder Sheen (Martin) is a devout Catholic. How that mixes politically is questionable; but, who am I to question? It's not my job to judge Martin Sheen, it's His. Now don't get me wrong, I don't agree with him on his politics at all and he is a tremendous actor. Perhaps his son (not Charlie) will open his eyes that the majority (not all) of the country can think for themselves. It seems that Emilio has stayed away from politicizing everything and focused on what matters to him: family, emotions and Christianity. I applaud him for that. Maybe Hollywood will catch on? Nah, doubt it. Anyway, I enjoy reading your posts. Just Sayin'...

I care also and I am not a fan. I care because "these celebrities" have such a hard time dealing with the pressures of popularity and lose their present mind. They're so disconnected from reality and are continually trying to find ways to stay that way. In an even more unfortunate incident (in my opinion), Stevie Ray Vaughn dried up and started playing the best music he ever had as a result...until his death. We should all care. We should all teach our children that there are better ways to find happiness without destroying our bodies. Whitney's story became sad many years back when she started her downward spiral. How many tragic cases must we read about before someone figures it out? The current list is way too long and will only get much longer. We should all care...mostly as an opportunity to teach our children: Who to look up to and who (not what) to turn to.
Buffer zone, indeed. Even at 43, happily married with two children, I still find myself, or my friends, adding a "buffer zone" at theaters...has nothing to do with homophobia.
Big Hollywood : 'Modern Family' Stokes Non-Controversy Over F-Bomb

My son, now 9, said the "F" word in front of a couple of my friends when he was around 3 or 4...sadly enough. When I heard him, I was embarrassed, mortified and also enlightened. Those ears hear everything and repeat even more so. What was funny then (not now) is that he actually used the word in context and my friends were "impressed" by his ability to use the word in a sentence. That's what made it funny. What makes it sad, is that he used the word because I had said it in front of him. My language usage cleaned up very quickly following the episode and, thankfully, he is a little gentleman now. I don't care that Modern Family uses this technique, it is what it is and I cannot change that. When I watch it tonight (it's TIVO'd) I'll probably laugh; however, I guarantee I will reflect on my own shortcomings as a parent and that's what makes me stronger and better at being a Dad. My son is awesome (as is my daughter) and I thank the good Lord everyday that my wife is here to help me. Just Sayin'...
