Breitbart.com : Protesters gather at UCLA to oppose UC fee hike

I can't understand why these schools need so much money. No one ever questions what they do with all the cash they get, they just complain that the government never gives them enough. How much does a classroom and a teacher cost? One teacher for a hundred students in a class - add that up! Students x credits x cost per credit hour = one big chunk of change per class. Where is this money going? Can't the schools ever actually cut back?

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Stand Up & Lead - 3/24

In response to the ideas for a Constitutional Convention, here is a start. - http://federalismamendment.com/ i cheered when he mentioned the Constitutional Convention. I know that it will take a lot of haggling to get the ideas distilled to something that everyone can get behind, but once that happens, we will have a positive focus and plan of action. Remember, this has to be ratified by 3/4 of the states, it's not like your opening up the Constitution for a select few to tinker with it and see what they come up with. The proposed amendment must be bold and to the point - what do we want most? We want to limit the power of the federal government. How is this best accomplished? Repeal of the 16th Amendment amendment and other wording to make it loophole-proof. Or maybe not, maybe something else - this is the decision we must make.

I live in PA, and, yes, I voted for him (please don't hurt me!). I met him once and swore that I would never vote for him again. The Republican party is moving farther to the right? Give me a %&^* break! Who does he think he is kidding? I can't believe that my fellow Pennsylvanians have kept him in office this long! If he gets re-elected as a Dem - I AM MOVING!!! Maybe I'll move to Alaska where they know how to pick a candidate! Ok, ok - venting - breathing deep now. I know that the reason he switched is because the Republicans in PA wised up to him (finally). Dems, do you think that he is going to be really loyal to you?

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Organize This through 4/27

This may not have been true in the days of our founding fathers, but with 24 hour cable networks, the internet recording every mistake, and vitriol constantly aimed at you from the other side - and with the current cost of running for high office necessitating pie-in-the-sky promises to any group that can throw some dough your way - HOW could any decent, normal person want this done to their lives? Yet we always wonder at the lack of good candidates. What can be done about this? Please think about it for a minute - it is really important!

Humility: I believe that there is a flaw in our current modern political system. We want our politicians to be humble servants, and vote according to the wishes of his or her constituency and the guidance of his or her conscience. But to be elected to any high office in this country takes the complete opposite type of personality. I’m sorry, but it is true. What decent, honorable, and yet humble person could withstand the scrutiny, the personal attacks, the constant harangue that comes with running for office? Any person who achieves an elected office in government higher than dogcatcher has to believe that he or she is meant to be the savior of the world, or else they just couldn‘t take it or wouldn’t even want to try. Therefore, I believe these offices can only be achieved by power hungry ego-driven personalities with loads of charisma and connections (and lots of money) to spare. (continued..)

The difference between a million, a billion, and a trillion. A million seconds is 11.5 days. A billion seconds is 32 years. A trillion seconds is 32,000 years. Eleven trillion seconds is 352,000 years. Quite a bit of difference.

I think that it was the way that the question was posed. It is hard to tell exactly why you asked it. Be that as it may, people descended from many types of ancestors were represented at the tea party that I attended, and I have video to prove it. Some of the best speeches came from immigrants from other countries.
