Yes the Mormon clergy is lay or unpaid. I owe a good upbringing to the LDS church. I had a father who walked out on our family, an abusive mother and was myself sexually abused not by Mormons but by a local Christian daycare. Did we sue the church? No! The individual paid! The LDS church provided free counseling for me and my mother, our family life actually turned for the better if you could believe that! I was involved in Boy Scouts all my young life, achieved my Eagle Scout and got a degree from a great university. There were countless men and women in the LDS church who gave of their time to help raise me, mentor, educate and support me. I would be in a bad place without the local LDS community. I thank God everyday for these great people and through the example of Jesus Christ I have forgiven my offendors. Clark is a known anti-Mormon and filing cases like these shows his bias. We need overall tort reform in America, why should Mormons and the Boy Scouts be held responsible fir the actions of an alledged pervert? $25 million?
