I'm watching the dub on dvds I bought at Otakon years ago and I liked rewatching episode 1, but I hope will be fine with the stuff that happens later. I really liked Gurren Lagann when I first watched it, but I liked it less as time when on because I grew to dislike some decisions this show made later. Also I had a friend who didn't take my recommendations because it wasn't Gurren Lagann. Enough downer talk for now, the music is great and I bought a great tote bag at Otakon last year because it was a mystery grab bag.

I kind of think New York is a dangerous place for a bunch of girls to go to especially since I watched that one Simpsons episode, but it's funny that three of them went to some ghetto hotel by accident, Nico's Alpaca dream and the Alpaca cursor was funny too. Foreign girls reacting to large America disks and deciding to eat at a Japanese restaurant was funny, but I get it, I've wanted to eat at McDonald's at other countries when I used to travel overseas. Btw is that mysterious singer that Honoka found twice a ghost or something, she disappeared twice and magic stuff happens around her. This does feel like the K-On movie where it feels like it should end after the big trip, but it wasn't so bad in this movie. I loved A-Rise coming back, I like that they're nice rivals, it's nice change of pace from mean rivals. I wasn't really feeling the songs in the movie, but a singing in the rain reference is nice, the bit of shocking party was good and I liked the last two songs. The sunny song did make me happy, the last song had great visuals and did that weird Kotori pop up in the corner like the opening. I overall liked the movie, but it couldn't keep my attention, I paused and did something else before coming back several times. I tried doing another rewatch of Love Live, but I stopped in season 2, this movie may have given me some love back for the series.

I should have caught up and posted earlier, but I want to say I love the artwork in the Boros arc, it's so good and detailed. I also love Lord Boros's design way better in the manga, maybe the color screws it up in the anime. I also love the side stories and I love comparing it to the anime, I can't wait to read more.

So that's it, I've watched Toradora! my first r/anime recommendation twice, once sub and once dub, I'm not sure which I prefer, but I can say that I love Toradora! This final episode was good and the kiss was great, I'm not sure how to feel about the ending. Taiga leaving to face her issues and become a better woman for Ryuji is fine, but telling no one isn't fine. It's easier to leave that way, but it's weird because she told her friends about eloping, but not this, I guess it was easier with Ryuji by her side. The rest of the episode was emotional and I hope everyone stayed after the credit to see one more emotional and slapstick moment from Taiga. I don't know how to feel about that either, I don't know if was funny and/or a mood ruiner.

The speech that Ryuji gave to his mom was great, but it was way too harsh even if he was right. A lot of great speeches in this episode, but the one I liked and related to the most was the one where Ryuji said he felt like he was a bother to his family and thought he shouldn't have been born. I felt that way before and I guess I still do, I'm glad that Taiga said what she said, but then slapstick happened. The slapstick is good in this episode, but it can ruin the mood. Anyway Minori was good this episode and we get to see where that running shot of her in the intro comes from. I really liked how she gave Taiga her money and supported her despite not agreeing with her.

The stuff Taiga saying at the beginning about not knowing what you want in the future or even what you want right now is pretty relatable. Even the stuff about wanting a normal life and a normal love, but Ryuji was right to be angry, don't let others decide what's normal, you're normal, everyone has problems. Anyway twin tails Taiga is cute and I liked how she helped Ryuji when he was feeling guilty. The ending scene was powerful, emotional and moving, but it seemed like everyone was hard on Taiga so she'd face the truth. Ryuji shouldn't have lied to protect her, this scene could have been avoided or done better.

This episode was a bit hard to watch because I'm pass High school and college, but I'm still not on a good career path. Anyway I liked the ghost speech and how Ami is done with Minori's shit. Seeing Taiga back with more slapstick was great and I got a good romantic feeling from Ryuji. So yeah 3 more episodes left, it feels strange because of how hyped up this rewatch was.

I need to keep up on these, I suggested One Punch Man for manga club and I even got volume 3. Anyway the artwork is great and I love reading the bonus stories because they weren't in the anime, those should be OVAs.

"Why can't I stop loving Ryuji", what a great line it made me feel emotional and randomly numb for some reason, same thing happened when I was rewatching Kimi ni Todoke's Christmas. Anyway this episode had some great arguments and fights, but the ending overshadowed the rest of the episode for me. I did think it was funny that the guys somehow remember to grab their slippers when they hid from the girls.

This show is well known for being Christmas related, but it doesn't have a Christmas episode. It has Christmas built up and an Christmas Eve episode, but I'm nitpicking. I don't like Taiga that thinks that she has to back off, but the scene with Minori grabbing Ryuji by the sleeve was really cute and funny.
