So you can't actually refute any of my points then?

I don't see what the merits or otherwise of Boris Johnson or Vote Leave have to do with the discussion at hand, likewise your ludicrous view that Britain will be less important than Belgium because we voted to leave a political bloc.

What would May be doing?

Surveying the carnage from her latest disastrous charge and screeching "nothing has changed"?

I dare you to go to a Greek hospital where medicine is rationed and say that, you tedious ideologue.

So Tusk and Juncker haven't been investigated for corruption in their own countries? Juncker's drunken antics would not see him removed if he was in any way accountable?

The likes of Verhofstadt doesn't delight in playing the statesman in a way someone from a fairly insignificant country usually couldn't enjoy?

The likes of Kinnock, Patten and Ashton haven't been enriched beyond all reason despite being failed non-entities who have never achieved anything meaningful at home?

Instead of name calling, why not come back and refute what I've just said - or do you spout ad hominems because you have no arguments?

Easy to attack someone who isn't here to defend himself.

Whatever the merits or otherwise of Powell's arguments (and he proved prescient on a few points and actually underestimated the impact of others), he put what he believed to be right and in the best interests of this country before his career.

The European Union works? At what, enriching failed or corrupt politicians from small countries?

Perhaps the remainers shouldn't have hamstrung the negotiations and allowed serious preparations for all outcomes, then.

Yeah, because telling people they weren't entitled to a say on Maastricht and Lisbon worked out so well for you EU-fanatics...

Yes, and what's Hammond's preferred negotiating strategy?

"Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir."

I raise you Theresa May.
