Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : News From You

The guy riding the Democrat Donkey that is pulling the cart has a sign on his back that says Tugwell. If you read Amity Schlae's "The Forgotten Man" then you will know that Tugwell was a communist. And I don't mean communist as an insult, like conservatives get called "facists", I mean communist in that he liked and even visited Stalin. Notice that he is the one leading the direction the Democrat Donkey is taking. Incidentally FDR's campaign against Hoover was "Change". If he had thought about adding "Hope" to his campaign then we would have almost a complete repeat of history.

Michael Savage annoys me. He think way too much of himself. He thinks is the ONLY conservative on the radio and lampoons all others even if he agrees with them.

I just read on NewsBusters.com that the Chicago Tribune reprinted a political cartoon from 1934 that is soooo true today. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2009/0... or http://www.chicagotribune.com/health/sns-pod-1934... Just thought I would pass this on

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 6/8 Wondering If We Are Christian Nation Or A Muslim Nation? WATCH THIS.

Both of your quotes cannot be found in any of Madison's or Jefferson's writings. Jefferson, not Madison, did write a letter that contained the oft misquoted "Separation of Church and State". But that quote in it's proper context had nothing to do with taking religious references out of the state. Jefferson's letter basically told a group of Baptists that the Federal Government cannot and should not get involved in a dispute between this Baptist group and the Congregationalists in Danbury, Connecticut. It is a common mistake for many athiests and agnostics today to look for quotes from our founding fathers to justify their contempt for the claim that we are a Christian nation. While we are not a Christian nation per se we are a nation of Christians. This is something that our founders understood very well. We may not be as Christian as we were when the Constitution was written but still the majority of people in this country claim to be Christian. The principles upon what this nation was founded on came directly from the Judeo-Christian ethic.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 5/29 EXTRA LARGE SERVING OF CRAZY! California County Tells People "No More Bible Study In Your Home"

California is a great state. The weather is great the beaches are great. The mountains are beautiful. The deserts are great. There is lots to love about California. The only problem with California is the idiots who run the state and the idiots who voted for the idiots who run the state. If we could throw those people out to some other state like New York (where they would be more comfortable) then I might move back to California.

As a former resident of that state (I lived there most of my life), I would have to say that I am a little shocked that it was San Diego. All of California has looneys but the highest concentration has to be the San Francisco Bay Area. I would not be surprised at all if this story came out of San Francisco but I am a little (very little) surprised about San Diego. About 10 years ago San Francisco refused to let the Blue Angels do their aerobatic show over the city, citing that the citizens would be offended by seeing military fighter planes. BTW Nancy Pelosi is from that part of California.

I agree. It is just more of Obama's smoke screen. If he knew that it was bad to go into debt now, why did he not know it a week ago. There are only two possibilities for Obama. Either he is a complete idiot who is running this government without any idea of what to do. Or, and this is more likely, he knows exactly what he is doing but he knows that the American people would not go for it so he has to do some of it behind a smoke screen and the other stuff he cannot hide he uses the media to not report it. R.I.P. Inalienable rights. We will miss you.

I realize that the economy is more of a symptom of a bigger issue. I also believe that the moral decline of the nation did not cause progressivism to take hold. I think that progressivism itself IS the moral decline of the nation. Progressivism holds that the state is god and that God does not exist. Atheists may fight me for this but I believe that morality cannot exist without God. Right now Ayn Rand is turning over in her grave. I believe the morality that is common to western civiliation is directly a result of the Christianity and Judaism. I believe our founders thought exactly the same way. Part of my support for Romney is based on morality. I believe him to be the most moral of the candidates that were running. That was until he endorsed and campaigned for McCain. Either equally as moral or close to Romney was Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo. I don't think Huckabee was all that moral. I believe Huckabee was behind the underhanded politics in the Iowa caucus where Romney's religion was being impuned by anoymous. callers.

I know all about Romney. I did research him before I endorsed him. But like I have said, I changed my mind about him. I would not vote for him again. But I will say this. He would have made a better president than Obama or McCain any day. The one thing that he was real good about was his understanding of business. All the others were just political hacks when it came to actually understanding how businesses are to be ran. But I think Romney had turned out to be a bit of a disappointment for me. I think he started off conservative, swung way to the left just to get elected in one of the most liberal states in the country and then tried to swing back to the right to become president.

I know conservatism is bigger than Glenn. I know there are many conservatives who dislike Glenn. But the Tea Parties are bigger than Glenn also. And it is the tea parties that I think are the anwser. That is why I said in a response to Reagan_1980 that there are many people in the 912 movement and I would also add the tea party movement that would fight and argue all day on policy issues but what unites us is our principles. It is the belief in the Constitution and what the founding fathers intended this nation to be. Once we restore in all the citizens the concept that individual liberty, life, property and the persuit of happiness are all inalienable rights then we can resume arguing on policy. But the bigger issue to fight is collectivism that is destroying all that we hold sacred. That, too me, is what the tea parties and the 912 project is for. It is not just Glenn who has been screaming about socialism, communism, marxism, facism and any other form of collectivism.

Well that is a tough one. Reagan_1980 does have a very valid point. But what I decided for me is that I vote for the best candidate that agrees with me, regardless of party. The other thing is that if we can convince enough people to do the same we might have a chance. I think I might have persuaded 2 coworkers and I know I persuaded my wife. Not by coercion, but by explaining why I wasn't voting for McCain or Obama. Hopefully this 912 project will have built up enough steam so that a 3rd party will actually have an impact. Just don't vote Republican for president in 2012 unless the candidate actually IS another Reagan. Don't be fooled by imitators in the party. Make sure your Republican representatives are actually representing your values. In my state we have 1 Dem and 1 Repub senator. Our Republican senator voted for the bail outs. I will not vote for him ever again. My representative in the House voted against the bail outs. He will get my vote again.

Yes you are right about that. The left did influence McCain's nomination. But I also ran into far too many McCain supporters who were Republican. That disturbed me because he was the worst of all choices that ran. The left knew that if Romney had won the nomination then it would most likely be over for them. He had the right message, the looks and the confidence that could have easily defeated either Obama or Clinton. Could you have imagined what a Romney/Palin ticket would have done for the Republican party? Romney might have won in a very Reagan like landslide. I voted for Romney but I have since changed my mind about him. I don't think he was the best Republican candidate we had but he was far far far better than McCain.

I want exactly the same thing. But I see it coming out of the Republican party almost as much as the Democrat party. I mean there are some great Republicans in the House and Senate. My local congressman voted against the bail outs and by everything I read he is right in line with what I believe. I will probably still vote for him. Ron Paul is a good Republican although I don't agree with him on everything. But my comments come to the party as a whole and who they have ran for president since Reagan and really before Reagan. But I like your signature and I wish the GOP would take your advice to RETURN TO REAGAN.

They are just throwing a bone at the fence sitters who haven't fully realized that the GOP is not a conservative party. It took me awhile to get over that. Even now when someone criticizes Bush I get a little defensive but then I come to senses and realize that I don't like Bush either, even though I voted for him twice.

Well perhaps you have watched the 912 Project numbers more than I. I haven't posted all that much nor have I visited this site all that much. But if you say the numbers aren't growing as fast as they used to and the number of posts are down, I almost expect that. But I don't think it means a loss of interest. Perhaps in some, but they were probably moderately interested to begin with. In other words, I hope you are wrong. I hope the people that have joined this site haven't forgotten what this was all about. I attended a tea party in April. If I can I intend on attending the nation tea party in Washington that, I think will take place on 9/12. But I have no confidence in the Republican party any more. They are going to have to do a 180 before I will get excited about them.
