http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/ : Mourinho: Lukaku asked to leave - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk

Jose makes some good points, but couldn't he have negotiated a loan agreement that allowed him to recall Lukaku if one of his strikers got injured ? It might have cost a bit more, but it would have been worth it.

Stock Gumshoe : "The Astonishing Secret of Mexico’s Long-Lost Silver Treasure Maps"

I responded to the teaser, and then cancelled my subscription when I read Sean's non-teased review of his picks - I could do this during the free trial period.I normally wouldn't do this.I did it because Sean's sober analysis in Red Hot Resources itself was such a let-down after the tease.

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/ : Soros does sterling work at Davos forum - Business News, Business - Belfasttelegraph.co.uk

The trouble is,we are so deep in debt that David Cameron's measures wont reduce the deficit enough, and the national debt will keep on growing. They may push us into recession. We need to pull out of Afghanistan immediately and also the European Union to reduce spending - but no major party said both those things at the General Election.

Stock Gumshoe : "Beware the Oil Pirates of Somalia" (Christian DeHaemer)

Hi,Travis.Whilst I have to admit here to being a not disinterested Range Resources and Africa Oil shareholder, that's not quite the way I see it.Red Emperor just announced they did a placing for exploration in Georgia and Somalia,,which they say was oversubscribed. True, they are offering Range Resources shareholders the chance to take part in the placing - so that might not be entirely unbiased, either.Still, that does rather suggest that somebody really is serious about exploring in Somalia !

Moises,to answer your question,- which is a bit off -topic - yes,I do follow Martin Weiss. The investment products his organization sells seem a bit expensive to me [apart from' Safemoney' ]]. But he sends out valuable macro-economic investment insights from time-to time.

Stock Gumshoe : Super Shift: Breakthrough Opens $40 Trillion Oil Prize in Monterey Shale (Kent Moors)

The trouble with teasers is you have to make 'em sound really good in the first place - then how can you give an objective assessment when you reveal the name of the company? And if you don't state the cons as well as the pros, people will wind up overpaying for the stock. - after all, they just paid you to find out what it was.

The wickinvest Portfolio tracker is very good for US - listed stocks and online feed.Is there any Portfolio tracker that works well with multi-exchange stocks - and tells you about news updates ? I am planning to try Yahoo Finance next.

Stock Gumshoe : "Micro-Quake Plays Poised to Rock Your Portfolio ..." [part one]

In the lead-up to this teaser, they claim that various stocks all started as micro-caps,and include Apple as one of those stocks..Well,,it just ain't so ! Apple did start small - but as a private company, and its stock was not for sale.I know, since I tried to buy some, about 30 years ago.By the time Apple listed publicly,it was not a micro-cap,although its shares did become very cheap later.
