The BBC has been decidedly leftwing for years now and they have the nerve to insist on total use of the licence fee to fund their point of view so I object to paying for a licence. If it really was unbiased I would be happy ti pay it. It is annoying to be preached at by left wing presenters for more than half of the time so I change channels

No they were not but one unbiased example does not make up for the patently biased opinions that they come up with daily. Oh and by the way Cummings was wrong to drive London to Durham. If he expects us all to follow his advice (he is an advisor) then he should be seen to be following is own advice or resign.

I disagree and think It does have something to do with the University. The Students Union is allowed to exist on site, probably gets cheap or free access to rooms for their nefarious views. It is appropriate the University administration should be a body that can approve or deny the Students Union permission for inappropriate activities

100% right Auntie. What we need are competent civil servants who can actually do what is required of them by our government. If I did not do as instructed by my manager when at work I could get fired is I cannot justify my point and civil servants deem to need lessons on how to win friends and influence their leaders. I think Patel is doing her job and am happy to see Boris supporting her

I hope not.. When a Sir top man in the home Office feels the need the to resign in order to make his point instead of justi8fying his opinions adequately then Patel must be doing something right

If Sir Permanent Secretary of the Home Office is unable to hold his own with so much experience in the job and feels the need to resign in order to try to justify his point of view I think it helps to justify an opinion that he just might be incompetent in the job,
There are far to many idiots who get promoted to their level of incompetence and still manage to retain their position well past their use by date.

I tend to ignore any item that has Global Warming and Climate Change in the text especially when it also blames human activity it it looks like they cannot decide what the cause is.
The biggest heater in our solar system is the Sun and it has been running at Solar Minimum for longer than ever previously recorded. I wonder where the heat went ? It's like someone turned the heating off and it's freezing outside
