Also note the Biblical language that is used, "but to illegal sojourners in Judea and Samaria". But they say the Palestinians are the religious fanatics!

But you are correct in your analysis. Israel loves this kind of PR game and they play it well (many gullible people buy it). The Haiti aid got a lot of coverage in the press. Don't forget the role Israel plays in the "Save Darfur" campaign. They've even taken in a few refugees into Israel to show their compassion (but of course no right of return for the indigenous Palestinians). And there's always a Bedouin Arab that an Israeli doctor is treating that gets ample press coverage. Again, to show that Israel is not racist against Arabs at all. It's THEM that are the problem. "They're forcing us to kill their children to protect our children" so goes their motto.
