I love the bathroom. I live on a cabin right now with no flushing toilet due to Circumstances beyond my control. Use to live in a expensive house. Making the best of life. Love the tub and the scenery from the balcony. Everything is so beautifully designed.

I appreciate the comments given to me I hope even though I may never choose the house as an option that my comments and others on here are taken in to consideration when designing the next decade of Dream/Green Homes.

OK, I'm being realistic!!!! Thanks for busting MY bubble and everybody else who would like to win this home. So I take it the home is JUST a gimic and HGTV sells the home to get the money to pay the cash the person chooses!!! Isn't that called fraud!!!

You answered a portion of a question. I didn't ask you to put a volleyball pool in this house!! I ask why you don't put it in an upcoming house, thus it is a suggestion. You told me you didn't know how much insurance would be on this house so readers could decide if they could afford THIS house. Your comment was, I don't live on this Island and my house isn't worth $2 million!!!!!!!! MOST PEOPLE DON"T, DON'T treat us like morons. take a few minutes out of your day and call an insurance company on the Island and get a quote!!! You have all the specs there we DON'T so we can't call. If there is such a problem in doing that. maybe you should give your job to one of us that would be willing to answer the questions of the readers, the people who pay tour salary!!!!!!! None of the other questions were even considered, because I received NO REPLY ON THEM!!!!! If HGTV didn't want feed back from ud they wouldn't have this section here~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please treat us like you would want to be treated!!!!!!

I have to say that this is the closest you have come to MY STYLE of Dream Home. I do however wish that the colors used in the Twin Bedroom and Bath were in the Master Area instead. I am disappointed that you didn't make the counter top on the island larger so stools could be placed around it. The other thing, VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Since you didn't screen the patios in, people are going to get eatten up by mosquitos and noseeums (spelling? for those of you that don't know, a noseeum is a bug smaller than a nat that will bug the living daylights out of you). I still would have put a TV over the fireplace and disguised it with a painting. so the growups could watch their movies, football, etc. in the living room while they're cooking!!! A plung pools great but what about a volloey ball size pool that's say 4 foot deep so that people like myself that are disabled but are able to move better in water can participate in family activities along with everybody else. Just because the BABY BOOMERS are coming to retirement age doesn't mean they want to sit around and WATCH everybody else having fun. Things need to be taylored to the needs of the majority and to some of us that are disabled but NOT DEAD. I do applaud you for placing the master bedroom in both 2013 homes on the ground floor, Smart Move!!! But consider having a full bathroom on the bottom floor (in this case, garage level) for those in wheel chairs.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell us in FACTS AND QUESTIONS (or whatver you call it) HOW MUCH is insurance going to cost for this house!!! I don't know about anybody else but that's the ONLY way I'm going to be able to decide whether I could afford to live in the house!!!

In general keep up the good work!!

When Jack opens up the video for this house it sounds like there hasn't been a Dream Home or a Green Home on the Atlantic in awhile!!! When the Urban Oasis was in Miami this year, a Green Home was in New Smyrna a couple years ago, a Green Home near Cape Cod recently and another Dream Home In Key West not to long ago!!!

The GULF COAST IS A GREAT COAST AND A LOT FEWER HURRICANES on the Florida Gulf Coast!!! We are beutifull over here and a lot of people still vacation here and end up living here like I have!!! I started out in Naples in 1980 stayed in Southwest Florida (Fort Myers and Cape Coral for 17 years, took a year to work in Florence, SC before coming back to my Gulf Coast in Tampa. Are white beaches are magnificent and are not as hot on the feet as on the Atlantic. Our surf isn't as high normally so it's not perfect for surfers, but otherwise we have GREAT areas for Dream and Green Homes. Contact me I'd be happy to enlighten you and show you where a future Home Giveaway might be located!!! (Just to let you know, I'm disabled and don't work for the chamber of commerce or anywhere, After living here for 32 years, I just LOVE OUR GULF!!!)

There was no comment on the Show that the Georgia Room is neither air conditioned or heated, but states it on the website!!! I'm from Tampa, Florida and have visited Atlanta in the summer and it is as hot if not hotter because of it's location!!! If I won the house, which I LOVE except for this aspect. I hope I can place an air conditioner/heater in the room without messing up the aesthetics of the outside. I know there is a fireplace, but my experience is they don't heat the whole room.

I'm disabled so the amount of stairs on the design scared me. But I can live on the main floor with no problem 98% of the time. I thank the archetect for placing a washer and dryer on both of the main floors. Now my only concern would be getting the groceries inside with all those stairs. Whether you park in back or at the curb there are quite a few steps to manage carrying things.

I'm sorry but there is one more aspect that I will have to take care of if I win. The gardenia plants will have to be removed because of allergies. I'm sure that I can donate them somewhere. If I win and these are the only problems I have I will be VERY greatful!!!

It looks great, however I was hoping that they would keep the pocket doors from the original house so that different activities could take place in each room. If they kept the pocket doors maybe they could be used somewhere else in the house. If not as a door then as a head board or bead board for a bathroom, etc.

I used to live in Illinois and now live in Florida. I do however remember that we had to shovel or push snow off the roof because of the weight. I'm concerned about the front porch as it is flat. When I win, do I have to be concerned about the weight of snow on ANY portion of the roof?!?
