I liked 'The Reader'. I think it deserves the spot more than 'Frost/Nixon' did. I think people should really watch the flicks before saying they're garbage. That's the problem with 'Best Picture' nominations. It tries to put apples and oranges in the same box. 'The Reader' is a much better melodrama than 'The Dark Knight'. 'The Dark Knight' is a better thriller/action flick than 'The Reader', but that doesn't win you an Oscar nom.
