This does some hard hitting on the subject of disability, and also offers a new spin on an old classic myth. Overall, the story is focused and passes both the Luna and Zecora tests. For one, they have both been out for many months now (TSBB is over a year old, TMGG is 10 months), so it could hardly be considered an "update." For two, while they are directly related to one another, both can be read as standalone stories, and are in fact tagged as sequels of each other meaning you can read in whichever order you like. I honestly feel like this is gaming the system, and that The Moon Glows Gently should have been submitted separately. By this logic, I could write a whole bunch of side stories to one of mine, tag them as sequels to each other in any order I wished, and they would all make it through even if the characters and stories were completely different.
