KOMO - Seattle, WA : Teacher sends boy, 5, home with bag of poo | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Local

I disagree with the "mean teacher / lawsuit" comments... the teacher found the mess "in her classroom". I didn't read that he had an accident and needed to go to the restroom to change into clean clothes. WHY IS THE KID POOPING IN THE CLASSROOM. If I were that teacher I would say good riddance to the kid! And if he is too young for school, the parents should let him stay behind one more year (people do it all the time) and give him a little longer to grow up before entering school. (Maybe that is what he wants!)

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : America's Wish List

I believe that people recieving government payments should not be voting. (I have NO idea how to enforce that). However, when someone is already getting goodies and is being offered more our officials are buying votes. If you get OFF those payments, no harm. Vote is back. (Anyone might need a hand out for a short time). I would like to think that welfare payments and medicare would be included.... if you consider that you are borrowing from your children for social security that might be another. I know that it would create a cry to do that. (Plus NO ONE would ever implement this, no matter how logical).

We don't pay into SS... we pay for the people who are on it now. We count on our children to pay for us.

YES.... the families in question got life insurance and other payments from what I remember and were still looking for more...complaining that the "govt" owed them.... same mentality that bugs us about everything else.

The sad thing is, many of them are probably people who shouldn't be out on the street. Wasn't it in the late 70s the activists said we couldn't "keep" people against their will? So, the mentally ill walk the streets not taking their meds or having safe places to sleep because it isn't nice to lock them up.... And if they are illegal... stitch them up and send them home!

You had to have been listening for a while. He wasn't just being "mean"... there really were a few folks who lived through that tragedy and just expected more and more and more. If you have life insurance AND get money from a fund AND get money from other people personally and are still whining about "not enough" the rest of us get tired. Colbert is not a particularly impartial (or intelligent) source of news.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : News From You

This girl gets it. (OK... one greenie weenie comment). This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20 year old. The contest was titled "u @ 50", by the AARP. This video won second place. When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant. Take a minute and watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42E2fAWM6rA
