West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Player Performances v Middlesbrough

Just got home. Guileless, depressing stuff. And I thought we looked very slow tonight - we really lacked pace. Maynard is a decent player and has a good touch, but he's not a right winger/midfielder. If we do go up under BFS it will be one step forward and two steps back. Bilic please.

Let's hope you're right. Agree re Lansbury and Morrison. And I also fear O'Neil might appear. Not my favoured line up above, btw - merely attempting to get inside the head of our colossus of the technical area.

BFS on the official site: "If we are playing badly then I don't expect to be let off the hook but we aren't playing badly we just aren't winning." Just a bit unlucky in front of goal then.

Quite. Though BFS does like to play people out of position so I suspect we might see something of Morrison wide right or left.

Think you're probably right. Can't see BFS changing his away from home 4-5-1 and wouldn't be surprised to see Collins start and Tomkins back in the holding role. Bench for Morrison.

I suspect we will attempt to maintain our admirable away record on Saturday by pushing Tomkins forward into a holding midfield role and playing Collins at the back.

Yes, what is the news of Vaz Te's injury? If he's out against Leeds we might be forced to move Taylor forward and move our left back over from right back to cover at left back.

We should have beaten them and beaten them well - absolutely no excuses for not doing that. But Saunders has done well there (W0 - D1 - L6 before he arrived) and is due some credit.

The game was crying out for Morrison today. Some attacking intent and expectation would have really lifted the crowd. We've got the players, but we're just not playing the football.

Love the idea of Di Canio, but he's inexperienced and a loose cannon. Bilic would be good for next season, whichever division we're in.

A generous 2 out of 10 for the manager today. Taylor should have been moved forward after Vaz Te went off after 10 minutes or so, not with 10 minutes to go. Baldock is admirably willing but he's not not a left winger. All too often the final ball was at head height to CC which invariably ended up in us losing possession. Did Doncaster's 'keeper make one save in the second half? Really uninspiring, uncreative stuff of the sort that saw BFS booed out of Newcastle. We are in desperate need of some attacking guile - step forward, please, Morrison. If I was Gold or Sullivan I'd be sounding out Bilic , who might be up for something new after the Euros.

West Ham Till I Die : Home Form: Are We to Blame?

Does anyone who posts comments on this site boo? And, if so, why? Is it the long ball football or the result? I understand booing the football - that's not aimed at the players but the manager that has instructed them to play it.
