Film School Rejects : Remake Report: What Will a \'Warriors\' Remake Look Like?

Why a remake? Just make a sequel or a new movie all together. Although from that comment it kind of sounds like a new movie anyways. Personally I don’t want to have the same characters now in LA, it would make no sense. To me they should focus on just making a sweet gang style movie with the same kind of concept (gang stuck at point A needs to get to point B) but a new identity. Don’t just ride the Warriors name. Kind of like the Karate Kid remake could just be a “new” movie without having to destroy classics with remakes. Why not just use the same idea but avoid bring back characters and what not? But I’m just bitter because I don’t like the stupid amount of remakes coming down the pipe.

Film School Rejects : WTF: And the Cause of Date Rape Is... Seth Rogen?

Well that is a burden that should not/can not be placed on the actors. It is not their fault that they are forced into the media spotlight. To say just because a person is famous due to following his or her dreams and making it in Hollywood that they should be held up to a higher standard then the average working Joe or Jane is just foolish. They are people just like everyone else they have highs they have lows. It is not reasonable to hold them up to a higher level of standards. You know who "good role models" are? Parents or at least they are supposed to be. When I first got to watch R rated action flicks with my dad back in the day there was never a time that I saw some one getting mowed down with gun fire that I thought "man this guy is who is shooting everyone is a good role model time to go pick up a gun". You know why I never thought that? You guessed it my parents taught me the difference between right and wrong, and played the role of being a good role model.

Oh of course people are going to say The Dark Knight. I don't see how that movie could be considered influential. But I really don't want to get into it. The Godfather should be on the list for sure, and I'm shocked that it is not. In terms of films from the 90's I need to go with Toy Story because it really started the animated big screen push. At least it was the first one that I remember that really pulled people into the theaters. So it most definitely influenced the animated "Pixar" style of blockbusters that we see today.

Film School Rejects : Interview: Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore from \'Miss March\'

I just don't know if lots of boobs can save this movie. Just does not look all that good or funny from anything that I have seen of it. Maybe they are saving the movie and not showing anything funny in the trailer. Maybe I'm just sick of these movies. Maybe it is just me.

Film School Rejects : \'Taken\' Sequel, Americanized \'District B13\' In the Works

I like it, kind of a badass Rambo style movie in the works here. I agree it would be sweet to have the whole team go on a mission rather then Nesson flying solo again. They just better avoid the whole, daughter gets kidnapped again kid of thing because that would be very uncool. However it really does not matter too much; I'll watch Liam Neeson wrecking shop any day of the week.

Film School Rejects : WTF: Seriously. Grey’s Anatomy Sucks. Seriously.

You make a valid point sir. I think the biggest issue that Kevin has is even if he chooses not to watch Grey’s Anatomy he is still constantly bombarded with shitty advertisements about it. You can't escape crappy TV. You could be walking to work and BAM! big ass bus with a Grey’s Anatomy ad on the side of it. Plus he does not seem to like fat chicks in leading roles.

Film School Rejects : Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansson Confirmed for Iron Man 2

Well we all know that Scarlett Johansson is going to look amazing in the outfit they squeeze her into, but her acting is likely going to leave a void in the connection we gain with the character. This is fine because that seems to be what they are striving for with the female superheroes in any superhero movie. No one cares if the actress can actually act the part so long as they look the part. Seriously, other then Batman Returns where Michelle Pfeiffer shines as Catwomen. I can't think of another superhero movie that had a well portrayed female superhero. Don't get me wrong she looked amazing in the leather, but she also acted the role very well. Meh either way looking forward to seeing Johansson popping out of a tight outfit. Rourke is a badass this we know. I’ve always thought he was a good actor so he should be great in this movie. Overall pretty amped up about this movie.
