I've always wondered though why she (and the other women on the premises) were hanging out with Kennedy and the other men at that time being that he was married. I've always wondered if there was some other inappropriate behavior going on - not that she deserved be left to die of course - but if you're evaluating for caliber about who you allow in your social circle perhaps recognizable names or money is not the standard by which you should use.

You know what you're right. All the 1-5% wealthy need to pay the actual amounts they owe - not the $$$ they funnel to tax shelters or the loopholes created for them specifically to get out of it. Since we know there's been a wealth redistribution during the Bush years and really it started with Reagan of more than 800% that has taken money from the POOR then all of that $$$ should be returned!! Here's another saying you should be following by that same tack: To Whom Much Is Given MUCH IS EXPECTED!!!!

Ok but then you had the "BIg Girl's Panties" post that seems to contradict this one. So which is it? I honestly didn't expect them to do a post on Malcolm X or any Black Man for that reason - not unless it was to discuss a crime or pathology they've bought into. It's why I am all for gender equality but can't be bothered with referring to myself as an ist anything. Race keeps trumping it. Still these people have audiences, make $$$ and get their views out. We need a Black Woman Gender-Centric Political Network where all Black women of all ethnicities and nationalities can have a place to go. So we can stop focusing on getting crumbs.

I love Adam and he's definitely talented. I'm not sure what would be in his best interests regarding winning Idol or coming in at #2. He should be free to be himself and self-define and express himself. If he wasn't so talented it wouldn't even be a question. I also wonder if this is why he hadn't entered b4 as I pointed in one of my blog posts he's been eligible to compete since its inception. Will Young the original UK Idol is out so there's already been a precedence set. But we'll see....

That's unfortunate and my response is going to be harsh. As an African-American woman who sees the American Indians in the United States changing their tribal laws to EXCLUDE BLACKS from being able to claim their Native heritage but NOT for WHITES and OTHERS I have to put my focus on those that seek to uplift "me and mine". I will not take up the battle for others that will deny me equal participation. While I'm certain knowing this info will be beneficial for many, political/personal survival and quality of life depends on knowing who one's friends and obstructionists are. I know this blog forum may not be the place to have that conversation but I had to mention this because so many Black women of all ethnicities/heritages take up the mantle of sounding the alarm for injustice for others but would be denied justice from some of those same people.
