And BINGO! I was right, use of the military in any way shape or form for law enforcement purposes without an executive order from the President is a violation of Posse Comitatus. Reading through the writings of the Founding Fathers, it becomes absolutely clear that they wanted the citizens to be armed with military style weaponry. So, this so-called "assault weapons ban" runs directly contrary to the intention of the Second Amendment. The Founders wanted every citizen armed and the government to understand that its place was to serve the people or else.
