The story itself was recorded. If my memory is right, then I picked that up from a freshman history textbook (yes, I am one of those nerds that will read a textbook cover to cover). I guess I was a little vague there- nobody remembers his name.

This introduction reminds me of the story of a man whose name was purposely lost by history. He burned down a Greek temple- the Parthenon, if my memory does not fail me- in a vain attempt to force history to remember his name. Now, of course, not a single living person knows it.
