In Soul Hunter the Rogue specifically mentions he has "been to your world" to Sinclair and Franklin, to handwave that he knows English. Shon requires a real suspension of disbelief if you ask me, but they just had to count on people not noticing / caring in order to tell the story they wanted to tell.

The language situation seems like something that creeps up at the margins sometimes (like with Shon), but isn't too often an issue because 99% of the aliens we've spent any time with so far are diplomats and merchants operating on what is explicitly an Earth Alliance station -- so it's understandable that they'd know the "local" language (I think we're supposed to assume English is the official language of the EA, if that hasn't been explicitly stated). We're certainly supposed to take it that when Lando and Vir are just talking to each other alone in Lando's quarters, for example, they're 'actually' speaking Centauri, and it's just being translated for the audience's sake.

Lost Tales was direct-to-video, but most of the B5 Movies were produced by TNT and premiered on that channel:

In the Beginning -- Jan. 5, 1998
Thirdspace -- July 19, 1998
River of Souls -- Nov. 8, 1998
Call to Arms -- Jan. 3, 1999

I agree that as long as it's after the end of S4 and before 5x22, it's all good, but honestly I had been misremembering 5x22 a bit when I was thinking ITB fits perfectly right before it:

Other posters pointed out that In The Beginning was produced and originally aired between S4 and S5 -- I had forgotten that, and honestly that has me wondering if watching it between those seasons might be a better placement than just before 5x22.

Argh, I'm so conflicted now! LOL

So excited for this! Like the previous poster said though, it looks like the movie In The Beginning is missing. I'd suggest that should go with the others being watched between 5x21 and 5x22 (right before 5x22 might be best).

Can't wait to join on this adventure :D
