Just an idea: Has anybody who is on the iPad baseband with an iPhone ever tried to re-enable the GPS with a cydia app called GPS serial....? What if GPS is simply switched off.. Live it a try and post what happens....

So this means that you are able to save blobs even for iDevices you no longer own and possibly do a favor to the new owner ;-) Just in case .....

pardon? I wrote about saving the blobs only... In order to offer you help, we need more information on your iPhone..., for e.g. iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4, the iOS version and your current modem firmware version

Did you know: once you have saved SHSHs (blobs) for an iDevice using TU (aka Tiny Umbrella), next time a new iOS is signed by apple you don't have to connect each and every device again to save the latest blobs ... simply select the iDevice in the list on the left and click "save SHSHs" But you have to select the iDevice, press the button, wait till it has finished (watch the progress bar) and select the next iDevice (in case you have more than one) and you are done

well... hard to cut a SIM card? The first SIM card I cut with a scissor made for finger nails.. and it worked.. Then more people asked me to do it for them... I bought a cutter then ;-) Just in order to be sure and safe instead of sorry :-D

lol ... I did not know how to say it in a friendly way, because it has been mentioned so often enough... Did think there could be somebody on earth still pushing the "do not touch me button" just in order to see whether it is doing something or not

it is caused by the combination of an old modem firmware and a new iOS version and is a cosmetic but anoying thing only... as far as I know using ultrasn0w is the only way to fix it
