I don't know about you, but if I was the owner of a certain franchise, I would be furious to discover that some random person started to steal my intellectual property and sell it without even telling me. It's mine and I have every right to do anything I want with it. If I want to earn money, if I want to be the only merchandise-maker, if I don't want my plushies to be sold - I have every right to do so.

Saying that someone can steal because that provides people with cheaper stuff is... stupid? It's stealing?
It;s the same as telling you to sell everything you own, including your own house, for 1$ each, because someone want to be able to afford that.

So yea...

Place yourself in that situation. You have something, someone else steals it and sells, gains a lot of profit. You're left with nothing.

That's stealing. That's gross. No one has the right to tell other people what to sell for what price. If you're against someone's prices - don't buy it. It's that simple. You don;t need to it survive, to live, therefore it's a luxury product - and by definition, not everyone can afford that.

Why is it that when someone steals a character from official show, no-one is concerned about that (like with all these fan-made plushies that are sold and praised for existing), but when a fan-made character is stolen, then suddenly people are having second thoughts, especially the creators of those fan characters?

If someone thinks that this company deserves a C&D (and it does), then every single unofficial plushie maker should also get a C&D. If someone wishes for EQD to stop posting updates on this company, then they also wish for EQD to stop posting fan-made plushies which were made to be sold or were commissioned for money.

Because it's exactly the same.
Double standards all the way, hypocrisy or something? Stealing is stealing, no matter the source.

Actually, I like the way Rarity turned out. Still, won't buy these. I'm not into dolls.

I forgot to mention it when sending the photos to EQD, but all these boxes are made by 'curver'. From what I've seen, it's a rather popular brand of storage boxes, trash bins and stuff like that. It may be a good idea to search for them in places filled with 'curver' stuff, like big furniture shops. Or simply look for E.Leclerc, it should be in most countries. ^^
