Unfortunatly with a deomcratic congress, there is no one to step up and tell him it is beyond his realm of power. Clearly, he can do anything he wants. He has a way of taking small calculated steps towards his goal, that go unoticed by most people. Its most unfortunate for the people.

The only way to change the way the government is running, is to change the people. We need a party of people who respect the constitution, and above all else, personal freedoms. We need a party made up of people who do not judge other, or look down upon others. We need a party that does not comprimise the freedom of america, for the prize of political power.

Both parties are hung up on trying to dictate how we should live our lives, or trying to change morality through regulation.

I want a party that will end welfare, a party that we limit the government, a party that is not on either side of abortion or marriage, I want a party that will end a war on drugs that cannot be won. I want a party that will put individual freedoms over personal agenda. I want a party that will run the government, not dictate my life to me.

Government is supposed to be a not for profit, protector of the people. Neither party qualifies. We need real changes. Not lies, and personal agenda labeled as change.

I am a conservative at heart. But I really dont agree with the main stream of either party. Rush makes all conservatives look bad. And the liberals...well... they just naturally look bad.

If everyone took a "how does that effect my life or future" standpoint on things, and were busy living their own lives, instead of criticizing others, or trying to change the morality of others, there would be world peace. If someone is not hurting me, my life, or someone or the life of someone I deem to be worth my love or respect, then I have no problem with them. If people were worried more about themselves, and less about making others more like them, life would be grand.

No, the baby is not living. The baby has not made a decision, taken a breath, eaten a meal, smelled the fresh air, or picked a political party.

The life and choices of the living mother should always take presidence of the unliving. Im not pro abortion. Like I said, I will aways choose on the side of life, and will always try to get a mother to deliver her baby. That being said, I could never condone taking that choice away.

Thats why I country is going to hell in a handbasket. People dont have the freedom to say what they want without being attacked. Just because someone has a different opinion than yours does not make them wrong. But we should not regulate anyone based solely on our own peosonal opinion. Morality is releveant to the person.

The problem with the whole gay marriage argument is that it doesnt matter. Im a big propnent of live and let live. How is a man marrying another man affecting your life or marriage? Your marraige is what you make it. Your love is what you make it. How is fighting over a word going to change anything. I am a straight man, and believe that being gay goes against gods design, and against nature. But how is someone else live their life affecting me?

I believe in god. I believe in the stories, and lessons written in the holy bible. What I do not believe in is biggotry in any form. Simply banning gay marriage because the majority is straight, is biggotry. Its like forcing black people to sit in the back of the bus because there are more white people. People are going to be gay, and going to be in love, and are going to share their lives regardless of whether or not it pleases someone else.

Live and let live. You conservates are always saying protect the rights of the people. But when the cause is not one you support, you are more than willing to kill hope, and infringe on the rights of other. Hypocrits.

I don’t believe even for a second that abortion is a Political issue. Abortion is a moral issue, and personal issue, Maybe even a church issue depending on one’s own personal faith. Morality is relevant to the individual. As long as the person is not infringing on the rights, or health, or security of another, we should not try to change their morality through regulation. As long as the person, who is choosing to have an abortion, can live with the decision, knowing the effects and consequences, I will support that person. I will never support that decision, but just because I disagree with a person’s decisions, doesn’t mean that the person is not worthy of support. People who make that decision should not be outcast, nor looked down upon. Support life of any kind, hold your hand out, and offer that person your compassion, and concern. Teach them, and help them, so that the next time they have the ability to choose abortion, there won’t be a need or desire.

The united states as I know it, is the same place it has always been for me. Politicians have been screwing things up, since politics was created. Unforutantly thats the way things work. Until you change the process, you are going to get the same results every single time. Unfortuantly im a better critic than creator, because I cannot come up with a better system.

Have you lost your mind, child? You and your peers are all damaged. How can theft (taking my money without asking me, theft!!!) and irresponsability make you happy? You must be one of those people who dont work, and collect welfare.

I am proud to be an american, but unhappy that I am no longer a free american.
