In Japanese, "human-powered vehicle" (人力車) is actually a word. It's pronounced "jinrikisha", from which the word "rickshaw" is derived. The guy in this comic could probably pursue that as an occupation. He seems to be pretty good at it.

Interestingly, very highly emotional or frightening memories are often stored more vividly and permanently than relatively mundane memories. I think they're stored in or near the amygdala, which is the part of the brain responsible for responding to fear - the "fight or flight" response. Presumably, remembering the scariest parts of one's life helps us survive similar future frightening situations. For example, Steve, you can use your memory to develop a response strategy to implement next time you have to ride a baby chair on someone's bike.
