Who says MC gave the texts to LE? I had assumed that the texts were discoverd by LE on their own when they were examining TH's tele records because they thought she was behaving in a suspect way. It was my assumption that LE brought MC in for questioning based on those texts and in looking through his phone they found the pictures of the RO that TH allowed him to take. I am making assumptions because these details have not been released to my knowledge. Have they?

You served? I'm surprised you didn't learn a little more respect while you were in. I did. And I was a 17 year old ADULT when I signed my papers. My parents had no say. I realize that I'm going to be called "feeding the troll" here, but your comment really rubbed me the wrong way. Most of us who served took our oath very seriously. It wasn't about the money it was about love of country. Regardless of whether we agreed with the politics of it all we were committed to respecting the command. You cannot, with your ignorant words, take away one shred of dignity from this fallen soldier. And I say shame on you for the attempt.

I'm trying to follow your logic, but I'm afraid I'm failing. (not trying to be confrontational here, just honest)

I am of the opinion that any single one of us veterans of the US military who took the oath and were willing to lay down our life for the country that we love and believe in, is a hero in our own way. I believe that this is true, regardless of what actually occurred during our time of service. I think that your family members were heros. Are you saying that YOU don't consider them heros, or that the government or the media didn't? Or that the people who surround them today don't?

Indeed, my relief comes from that the police were tipped off and arrived before anyone died. This could have been sooooo much worse. Blessings to all who are trying to heal from this over-dosing or poisoning, whichever it is determined to be. And here's to the lessons that these young people (hopefully) got an opportunity to learn that dreadful night.

You should consider representing at the "Rally to Restore Sanity" :) There is going to be one in the Portland area, in addition to the big on in WashDC.
I agree with you....extremism either way is certainly dangerous and not smart. It is unfortunate that the craziest among us are the ones who tend to get their crazy voices heard on a regular basis (i.e. talk radio).

It was my understanding the the searchers are primarily made up of volunteers. I don't think that they cost anything. So, no worries, eh?
