You are right it is not Rugby; Ireland is the anomaly. 2 distinct countries, having 1 team just doesn't make any sense.

what absolute nonsense. Rugby is the anomaly here, because it is based on the whole island. There is no Great British team, or North American team, or South American, nor Iberian or European team, or anything else for that matter. Why would FIFA tell the remiaiing UK teams to reduce themselves to one? Where is your logic? Scotland is independent already because it has its own team as recognised by FIFA, so if they ceased to be part of the UK it would make absolutely no difference, they wouldn't have to make a new football team to do it

Surely, when the Queen dies Charles will automatically become King unless he pre-abdicates? It is a purely hereditary system, so the next King has to be Charles. The current Monarch cannot simply choose who will be next.

I think they all do, don't they? Certainly when I was going to school if you went on to do A levels, irrespective of the subjects, you had to have at least English and maths GCSE at grade C or above. The rational I understood was that you couldn't go to University without them.

When the going gets tough, you send for the best... In this case they were obviously busy so they settled for Eamonn. He is a walking PR disaster. He told a rape victim she should have got a taxi, he thought Salma Hayek was a Lesbian, after she said she was half Lebanese, he asked a sex addict would she not turn to prostitution, he called a guest on the show 'a retard', he hid behind a woman during the national lottery when the set was invaded by Fathers for Justice'... Oh it'd be funny if it wasn't so cringe worthy.

Don't get this article at all... First half is spent painting an impossibly romanticised version of our postal service, then the second half basically saying its crap! But regardless we need to keep it as a symbol of something? A symbol of what? In your own words: the only things on your doormat are junk mail, reminders from the bank charging you for this reminder, and a corpse the cat's dragged in. If it wasn't for Amazon ... No, it's letters late, deliveries at random times, costly 'guaranteed' delivery services. If you really feel like that I don't know how you can argue to keep a symbol of that
